hey all! today we're launching a new open source JavaScript framework / toolkit:
instant.dev is for building APIs with JavaScript and Postgres, fast. It makes it easy to spin up new API projects from scratch or manage a Postgres installation in an existing project.
it is heavily Rails-inspired 💜 and supports all JavaScript environments out-of-the box: CJS, ESM and TypeScript.
it comes packaged with an ORM for data manipulation — you don't have to know SQL to get started — and Migration tooling to help you manage database structure and state across development environments.
we'd love thoughts / feedback / support! we'll be talking a lot more about it in the coming weeks as we add features and ship stuff -- can follow us here via @instantdevs
