On October 26, 2024, the death of Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Holden Trent was announced. He was just 25 years old.
Two years on, his fiancée, family, friends and teammates are ready to talk; to remember a man who "went through a battle every single day to be the person he was".
For more than two decades, Holden Trent defied debilitating medical conditions to reach professional status in the world's most competitive sport.
This is his story.

"Perhaps Nashville SC's greatest success in 2026 is giving the city a team that looks like them, plays like them, and brings them joy week in and week out."
Nashville SC are the 2026 Supporters' Shield winners, and they're bringing Music City together.
Red Bulls are carving Miami apart at will, should have scored three or four goals, and have been more wasteful than maybe any team I've seen this season.
Messi is going to come off the bench in the second half and RBNY are going to pay for all these misses.
