Khurram should be reunited with his family immediately! His children should not have to grow up without his loving presence. Each day he is imprisoned, is a day robbed from them!
Join his family in the call to #FreeKhurramParvez!

Join us in demanding the unconditional release of Khurram Parvez. Khurram’s arrest is a silencing not just of his voice but has a chilling effect on all those who demand truth, justice and accountability. Thread on his important work:

Srinagar looks emptied of its citizens: Instead of being crowded with civilians, streets are awash with armed soldiers; instead of traffic jams, spools of concertina wire. People remain inside with no phone, Internet or cable TV service. @NihaMasih. washingtonpost.com/world/asi…

Surreal scenario. Lawyers under arrest. Lawyers unable to come to court so cases dismissed. No orders can be posted because postal services disrupted. And hundreds of arrests n illegal detentions. My story
