Marist's new Maine poll (@maristpoll): Jackson +9 among registered voters, +2 among likely voters. Pingree's 11-point lead becomes a tie. I went through the crosstabs and Marist's other October state polls. White paper at the end of this thread. 1/7
Bottom line: consistent with herding toward the Senate average, not proof. The data can't tell deliberate tuning from an undisclosed weighting step such as a party-ID target. Either way, these likely-voter toplines add little beyond the averages. 6/7
