imo i think ppl confuse black pride with pro black. one is an adjective while one is a verb. one can still have pride for who they are while dating outside their race but pro- black is the action of really centering blackness in all aspects (personally and socially)

Hard agree. You’re also exposing yourself to a lot of trash you’d prob never encounter otherwise. Meeting people organically and building connections with ppl you encounter in your day to day often leads to finding ppl ur naturally more aligned with and have more in common with.
Someone told me he thinks dating apps are bad because they let you access connection without having any motion in your life. Normally meeting people requires going out into the world, entering new scenes and navigating unfamiliar situations. You have to be living a life that brings you into contact with other people. Dating apps let you order connection without doing any of that work
