“Black” is now used as a pass through or mutator. It is added to BIPOC to pass along the historical oppressions of #ados to others. And it performs the same function with the category “Black women”. Taking someone that may have arrived 20 - 30 yrs after Jim Crow and tying them to Harriet Tubman and Fannie Lou Hamer. While also shattering the group along gender lines.
Black is also now being used as a sort of social mutator for people that are anchored in being white or Senegalese 🇸🇳 like Hannah Jones or Issa Rae. Where we fail to identify their anchoring & privileges nor how they are used to cover the in life cost of being an American Descendant of Slavery with no parental carve out.

Again the Harvard paper on #ados was not an academic paper retracted for a singular factual error. It was an attack on myself @tonetalks , @BreakingBrown, and #ados retracted for editorial failure. This paper that moved mountains with the weight of Harvard’s name did not make any sense. Do we all understand we should be asking who sent the democratic donor org moveon to help create this paper? And who pushed Harvard to publish? And why was #ados and its two creators targeted?
Thanks to the @ADOSorg and all those involved in working for a retraction to clear our names from this trash attack on Black politics 🗑️.
