I wonder if @2GB873 will give a platform to all people charged with multiple murders moving forward. I’m sure the Bondi shooter will tell you he’s innocent as well.

How many One Nation supporters carry on about defending BRS, and how important veterans are……the RSL actually stands up for all veterans. Hanson demeans them, humiliates them whilst her supporters remain silent. I support Jacquie Lambie as a senator, a woman and also a veteran.
I’m really getting sick of the level of hate and racism in Australia. If this migrant was John from the UK, no one would say a thing. Ironically this is another bot farm out of Indonesia that has 47000 followers. It shows the level of stupidity of ON supporters.

In an emotional address to hundreds of residents gathered at a community vigil in Wodonga, former independent MP Cathy McGowan warned that the attack on Helen Haines has struck at the heart of Australian democracy, revealing that women across the electorate fear for their safety and question whether they can enter public life without facing violence.
Haines remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital, having had both legs amputated after a vehicle drove into her outside her Wangaratta electorate office on Monday afternoon. smh.com.au/politics/federal/…
Just heart breaking for not only Helen, but her family. The toll that this taking must only be horrendous.
Phil Haines confirms that Helen has tragically now also lost her second leg 😢 but she is stable and alive.🩵 #auspol
The media continues with bullshit. Police are yet to reveal a motive behind the attack, but people like @TomSwitzerMedia think they know more. This is what is giving rise to the hostilities we are seeing.
Investigators have yet to establish the alleged assailant’s motive behind the attack on independent MP Helen Haines, although reports suggest he holds strong environmentalist and pro-Palestinian views. If confirmed, that mindset will inevitably invite questions about the relationship between political conviction and violence.
Had the accused been associated with the far right, the media would be quick to examine whether extremist views helped fuel the attack. The same scrutiny should apply if the accused’s sympathies lie on the far left.
Political hostility, meanwhile, remains a troubling feature of democracies across the Western world.

I was horrified to hear of the attack on Australian MP Helen Haines. My thoughts are with Helen and her family at this difficult time.
Nobody who serves their community should face violence while doing their job. Sending Helen our full support from the UK House of Commons.
Two days later and I’m still struggling with the violent attack on Helen Haines. We all need to be better. Myself included. Thoughts to Helen’s family as they all come to terms with this horrible attack.
Anyone who thinks politicians or political parties don’t keep dirt files on anyone is a fool. FFS I had one written on me that was shopped around. The story in the daily mail yesterday was used by design to cause damage and it was a low act in so far as timing. Do better PVO.

James Morrow along with the two other arsehats spend their Sunday morning on Skynews degrading and personal not from the far right….its a bit rich coming from this turd in a teacup
If Anthony Albanese wants Australians to “turn down the temperature” of our political debate, perhaps he ought to start with himself and be the change he wants to see in the world, writes James Morrow.

Victorian Nationals MP Tim McCurdy says the accused attacker Brendan Nugent was known to him and regularly visited his Wangaratta office to discuss issues.
Says he never found his behaviour concerning or threatening.
Hansons backdown after yesterday telling Lambie “to get over it, it’s satire.” Is the mood changing quickly? For all those supporting Hansons comments yesterday, do you agree with her backdown today! She hadn’t even bloody watched it…..
No @AngusTaylorMP, Angie Bell withdrawing the comment is not good enough. You need to remove her from your frontbench. Grow some balls and show some leadership. This is what is so desperately needed in Australian politics
Far Left, far right or centre. I don’t care what political leanings they are, but a deranged arsehole tried to kill a politician of exemplary standing in her community. This is not Australia. Put your partisanship to the side and ask yourself, is this the country we want.

It's only been about a week since LNP MP Angie Bell told parliament that Anne Aly MP (small business minister,) should be “shamed and stoned” over a decision made by the tax office. #auspol

I certainly do not blame @PatsKarvelas for the attack on Helen Haines, but I do blame her and others in the media who refuse to call out bullshit and lies by all of the political class. She should be impartial in her approach.
