Here, Here!!! The @hillcountryride owes Hill & Laura the same gratitudes. I can’t image where the Austin cycling community would be with these amazing humans!
Hill Abell and Laura Agnew (former owners of @BSS_Austin) have been a central part of the Austin bicycling community since the early 80s. We are grateful for their generous support of the @redlineparkway and unflagging dedication to building opportunities for Austin’s cyclists!

Why are some Austin sidewalks and paths red? @KUT's ATXplained project says the answer is simple: They're for bikes and scooters. We are so glad to see these are common enough to spark questions. Hoping to see lots more around town in 2024! loom.ly/-4TxgjI

I’m an aspiring RW super fan and jaded Broncos fanatic: yep.
Replying to @MaseDenver
I’m not a big RW fan, but McGlinchey is right: #3 gets way more grief than he deserves. He’s a target, and the sideline spat hot takes exemplify it. The pundits and commentators are always ready to pounce. It was a story, but the reaction has been overblown and self-serving.

What a year! Student protests, Wider Won't Work rally, 2 City Council resolutions, 2 letters from Travis County, I-35 Town Hall, tons more electeds and groups on board, testimony, documentary film, press conference announcing the lawsuit.. I can only imagine what 2024 will bring!
Thank you to every single one of you who participated in our movement in 2023. It was our biggest year yet, and we are fired up to continue the work into 2024! 🔥 💙🩵💚We love you all 💚🩵💙

You know e-bikes are becoming more mainstream when Best Buy has an electric transportation section in the store!

For the first time, TxDOT is creating a Statewide Active Transportation Plan and they need YOUR input! The deadline is the end of tomorrow. Take the survey now. It only takes 5 minutes and will make real impact. burnsmcd.mysocialpinpoint.co…

The Kansas City Chiefs are 8-5. The Denver Broncos are 7-6. The Broncos started the season 1-5 and are now 1 game back in the AFC West. Wow.

There is an amazing @ClimateTown episode on this topic. Unbelievable how terrible a deal this is for Chicago.

If I-35 is too ambitious I’ll take Lamar or S 1st.
This along Airport BLVD. Austinites, what other streets would you suggest for this?

Strong message. I agree, traffic isn’t the issue we’re facing in Austin and expanding a highway isn’t the solution we need. Bravo @imhiramg @rethink35
"Expanding highways is the wrong response to growth" - Hiram Garcia, local journalist So many powerful voices rang across the Wider Won't Work rally on November 5th!
