If he's anything close to this OPS (or .875 OPS in MILB 2026), you're talking about a crucial MIF peice for the future Braves roster.
My dream is a Southisene/Lodise MIF for hardly any $$ in the upcoming future. Attack other needs with $$ saved.
Many have mentioned, but no way ATL cuts Profar and wastes $15m (unless the clubhouse issue would be a complete disaster).
A World Series victory is nothing short of magical for us passionate baseball fans
He's waited decades for this. He's never stopped believing. This is a dream come true.
Enjoy this clip. He's everybody's dad tonight.

Considering trajectories of Brewers/Dodgers, will be quite challenging for the Braves to get a top 2 seed over the next 2-3 years...
None of the 6 WS participants the prev 3 seasons had to play a WC series.
The 2026 World Series champs are far from finished.
A combination of young stars, elite pitching and a best-in-class farm system will keep Milwaukee in contention for years to come 🏆

pretty decent gap into how much better MIL is ran vs ATL despite...
ATL having a much payroll
ATL having drafted in similar position over past 5-6 years
ATL having same INT FA capabilities

I don’t get the complaining about night games.
2:30pm CT has historically been the marquee SEC game for years.
NEW: Lane Kiffin on LSU-Alabama getting the 2:30 p.m. CT slot instead of the night game he expected:
"If someone thinks the SEC wants us to win this year after what’s been going on, they must have just been on Mars the last four months. So I guess when I look at it that way, I’m not surprised."

The Braves have a current reliable starting rotation of...
Chris Sale
Bryce Elder
and Jim Bowden doesn't think they're a fit for basically any of the top FA SP.
Jim Bowden names the Atlanta Braves a "best fit" for four top free agents

The Braves had an inexpensive William Contreras going into 2023 (+TDA).
He had just produced an .860 OPS and while he wasn’t a great defender, he was improving. Still 4 years of cheap control.
They traded him for another catcher…and it’s mostly been a disaster.
William Contreras has made 7 successful ABS challenges behind the dish in the World Series!
Oh, and he's also hitting .419 with a 1.141 OPS this Postseason 🤯
(MLB x @TMobile)
These #s are misleading… need to calculate how much of the “mixed use”business occurred on the 81 days the Braves played a home game.
They’re getting tickets for every single person? Doesn’t seem like their allotment + demand from Rays fans would allow it.
