Why would they? This sculpture was inspired by the cathedral in Nagasaki that was destroyed by the atomic bomb. Since there were consecrated hosts inside, according to Catholic theology this makes Jesus himself a survivor of nuclear war.

We are apes that forced sand to think, we can twist metal into any shape we want, we produce all the resources every person could ever need.
