Credit where it's due, I've always been critical of Bruno especially when he can be quite wasteful trying to progress too much too quickly. But this season he's been remarkable!
Deserved recognition as the best individual player in the league! 👏
🗣️ Brilliant from Dougie Critchley on if Bruno Fernandes should win the PFA Premier League POTS award:
“Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think some people say, Man United have had so few games, they haven't played in Europe, but neither did Kante when he won it in 2017.
“Neither did Mahrez. Neither did Luis Suarez when he won it.
“And, he hasn't, of course, won the league this year. But nine of the last 16 PFA Player of the Years haven't won the league.
“I don't think it's actually imperative. And this guy has created the most chances in the entirety of Europe. And the last player to create more in the premier league season was Kevin de Bruyne in 2019/20 and he didn't win the league that year either. And he was named PFA Player of the Year.
“So, I think exceptional performance is just exceptional performance and he has been brilliant.”

Watching Kobbie Mainoo face up against Alejandro Garnacho the other night really got us thinking..
Both youngsters went through spells where minutes were hard to come by at #MUFC, but their reactions couldn’t have been more different.
Garnacho threw his toys out of the pram, conducted disrespectful public interviews, insulted managers/teammates with his social media activity, and even was accused of leaking team news.
Mainoo? Not a word. All you saw was a guy keeping his head down, staying out of the limelight, and training harder than ever to try and turn his own situation around.
Fast forward to now.. Mainoo is at the heart of the team under Michael Carrick, on course for a World Cup selection with England, and is driving United back to the Champions League.
Whereas Garnacho is reportedly on Chelsea’s list to be sold after not even a full season, has no World Cup call-up on the cards with Argentina, and has shattered his overall reputation in the footballing world.
It just shows when things aren’t going your way, there’s a right way to handle it.
And Mainoo chose it. ❤️

🗣️ Michael Ballack: "Virgil Van Dijk is very lucky to play in an era where there is no Drogba, Lampard, Alan Shearer, Henry, Rooney, Van Persie, Tevez, Adebayor and Diego Costa in the Premier League. No wonder they think he is the best defender in the League."
That 08 squad won the Champions League, 3peated the Premier League and went 14 games without conceding a fucking goal.
To even put them in the same conversation as the modern day Stoke who are on a 6 year trophy drought is a fucking disrespect.

Fuck off Gary - you havn't helped one bit and quite frankly Manchester United supporters are sick to death of hearing your opinions.
18 months ago it was "Manchester United need a manager with a system"
Now its "Manchester United need a manager that fits the DNA of the club"
How's about Manchester United need the Glazers to fully fuck off?
How about stop telling Manchester United what they need when you can't even sort out Salford?
How's about Manchester United need you and your shitty employers to stop obsessing and over analysing everything the Utd manager does?
How about being fair in your punditry and treating managers of United how you treat managers of Spurs, Liverpool and just about every other club?
Just a thought?

Wilcox asking Amorim to adapt
Understand there is growing tension between Ruben Amorim and Manchester United director of football Jason Wilcox.
Sources close to #MUFC say Wilcox would like Amorim to be more tactically adaptable, while the Manchester United boss is disappointed at the lack of planned activity in January having been told last year incomings were possible. Remains to be seen whether any senior arrivals come this month.🔴

INEOS kept on a manager they had no faith in, openly canvassing Europe for his successor but then armed him with £200m to spend on players he wanted, and changed the backroom staff before sacking him anyway. They axed a sporting director, whose way of working was well established, because he did not fit in with how they wanted him to work. He warned them about selecting a head coach attached to a fixed style of play, which didn’t suit the squad and how expensive it would be to build a quality 3-4-3. They didn’t listen, insisted they believed wholeheartedly in Ruben Amorim’s approach, but then wouldn’t fully back it in the transfer market and asked him to change the tactical principles that attracted them to him. Some “best in class” decision-making…

TWO THINGS CAN BE TRUE:
Ruben Amorim should have been sacked a long time ago. His record at #MUFC was absolutely abysmal
INEOS have displayed themselves to be totally incompetent and have no real plan. They didn't sack Amorim due to results but rather a fallout.
WHAT. A. MESS.

🚨Manchester United have a MASSIVE chance tonight to fix the embarrassment from the Everton disaster. This is a huge moment in our season — win it, and we go 5th, level on points with Chelsea in 4th.
West Ham are missing Paquetá AND Summerville… if there’s ever a time to take advantage, it’s right now. Strong home game at Old Trafford, the crowd behind us, momentum back on our side — there are absolutely zero excuses.
Get it done, United. No slip-ups tonight. 🔴🙌
