Will #Lucy be forever captive because of society’s & #City of #Edmontons prevailing view that zoos are both good & necessary even though science concludes that 🐘 suffer tremendously in zoos.

Please give back by being humane and releasing Lucy to a better life at a sanctuary. Elephants are very social and she deserves to spend her last years amongst her own. Would you like to die locked up and lonely being punished for no other crime but being born an elephant?
Kicking off this campaign with an incredible team of volunteers who believe in a better future for Canada.
Door by door, conversation by conversation, we’re building a movement to serve our city and our country. Edmonton has given me so much, and I’m ready to give back with everything I have. Let’s get to work! 👏🏽🇨🇦

Land grabs are happening in South Africa, and those who claims otherwise are lying. In this video, I discuss several incidents of illegal land grabs using tactics similar to those used in Zimbabwe early on.

GDewar is the manager of #YegZoo
But G Dewar is also part of @CAZA_AZAC the body that oversees zoos in🇨🇦
So ask why does #YegZoo keep getting an exemption to keep a lone🐘
Why does CAZA support Lucy not moving to sanctuary
When your jailers block off all exits to freedom🇨🇦

#Lucy is far from warm Sri Lanka her🏠
She lives alone at EVZoo in Edmonton a small northern🇨🇦city with bitterly🥶winters & summers full of dangerous wild🔥
It’s common knowledge #Lucy would safely relocate to sanctuary
But the zoo mislead @CityofEdmonton & use zoo vets 2 assess

#ValleyZoo has a whole propaganda machine in place to brainwash the ppl, our children via zoo school into thinking Lucy can’t move.
Come on @ctvedmonton @GlobalEdmonton @edmontonjournal @CBCEdmonton do some investigating
We know Lucy can move her 2022 assessment told us that.

Sadly Lucy is housed alone, separated from other females & herd members.
The future we all fight for, for Lucy is for #yegzoo to shut down their elephant exhibit & allow Lucy to have the life she should always have had with a 🐘 herd.
A life where she can forage, swim & belong.

This year #Lucy needs far more than just to survive #Lucy needs to live.
But to live she can only do that in sanctuary.
Failing to go 👀how safely sanctuary vets & how well a sanctuary will meet Lucy needs should be a crime & the criminals are Edmonton City Councillors
