Today we raised $400M at a $13.3B valuation. Since I’m feeling nostalgic, this is where it started:
Three years ago, on my birthday, I wrote Lovable's first line of code. We wanted to build what we believed the future of software creation should look like.
During the first year of extremely hard & dedicated work, we failed to launch our product twice. The third time, something clicked. People started creating real products with it, and inside companies, teams started building the internal tools. Within a year we'd reached millions of founders and employees at half of the Fortune 500.
@Lovable’s growth hinged on word of mouth. People suddenly had a way to act on their creative ideas, and they told other people about it. That's still true today. More than 60 million projects built, 1.2 million new ones every week, and over 900 million monthly visits to what people build. That’s an order of magnitude more than the reach of lovable itself.
Though the platform evolves, our users' ambition to create has remained constant. Unleashing their ambition, removing any friction, making creation seamless, and empowering a new generation of builders is our mission. Our work is about constantly pushing the frontier of which ideas can be turned into reality.
People do no longer just build their products on lovable, they run & grow their businesses.
Every day, I’m grateful for this team and their hard work. ❤️🚀

My boy @emilfagerholm built this amazing feature and promised me a fancy dinner if I get the most retweets on the team.
Please help a brother out 🙏😂

Lovable had an incident this week, and I’m proud of our team for deploying a fix within hours of learning about it. But things shouldn’t have gone this way in the first place, and I take accountability. I’m sorry.
The team learned about the incident on X because our own vulnerability disclosure process was broken. That’s not because of our partners at HackerOne. It’s on us. We could’ve reacted much sooner and I never want people to think that the only time we care about an issue is if it goes viral. We care that everyone who uses Lovable can trust it, and trust us, to do right by them. We appreciate and need ethical hackers to help us make the product safer, and security researchers should know we value them.
We also made decisions in our product that might’ve felt logical when we launched but feel really out of touch with user expectations now. It doesn’t matter what the intent was, it matters that we make decisions that keep customer trust at the forefront at all times. We’ve done a lot of work on this in the last year, and when things like this incident happen, it shows me there is more to do.
So we’re going to do more and we’re going to communicate about it better.
Lovable should be the safest place to build.
Full write-up from the team and me below, including everything we're changing immediately.

Ad hoc queries can quickly turn your data warehouse into a mess.
Finding the right data is hard; there’s no way to know what query to trust.
Verified queries ✅ fixes that!

Introducing: Chart filters
Quickly explore your data with chart filters without tweaking or re-running the SQL query.
Very interesting! It aligns well with our view @mason_app.
AI can help you write SQL faster but won't replace you.
Googling “average time to load a dashboard” took me to an article claiming that between 6-20s is acceptable.
With this update, charts load in milliseconds in @mason_app ⚡😎.
