(Source: 4Teachers.org, H/T Valeska Gioia) SET TIMERS Start with 10 minutes of focus at a time. POST THE CLASS/ACTIVITY SCHEDULE Place this info in a spot that is visible to all learners. (Source: Gina DiTullio for Edutopia) WHERE TO SIT Have students sit away from high-traffic areas, with their backs to windows, peers, and corridors. TASK TREE A task tree is a visual strategy that will give the student step-by-step instructions on what needs to be done at the beginning of each class. Each step is shown from left to right or top to bottom and includes a picture and an arrow that connects the pictures (and steps). Breaking down a complicated task into smaller steps is a great way to give students the extra support they need to be prepared and ready to learn. (Source: Jack Hans, N2Y) -Todd Finley

Wade was settled legal precedent, and I am alarmed they chose to reject the stability the ruling has provided for two generations of Americans."
