That's a wrap on the #OpenHardwareZone at @EFDevcon 4 days. 21 workshops. 18 showcases. 15 makers. 750+ people who sat down and made something. Thanks to all the collaborators & partners who added to the space and shared so openly!

Went somewhere to give unsolicited mechanical design advice I guess it worked out!
Big thanks to @buildwithsrini @CaptVenk @HardwareFirst_ for thinking of us and letting us be a small part of it.
10/10 would give unsolicited advice again.
A big thank you to @usesillycuts SillyCuts, and especially @AskBaluBabu and @IKnowJoy
They didn't just offer design support from a distance.
They personally came to the Hardware First hacker house, worked alongside the builders and helped solve real product design challenges.
The difference between a prototype and a usable product often comes down to details like these.
Thank you for being there and making things happen.

Credit where it's due. @temple is the first Indian company to invent a wearable category instead of copying one. Leaving a CEO seat to build sensors, adhesives and firmware from scratch in India is rare and worth cheering.
But here's the thing about being first: there's no prior art to borrow credibility from. WHOOP got torn apart in their early years. It won not by arguing with doctors but by publishing against reference devices and letting the data do the talking.
The good faith critics aren’t the enemy they are the free QA team every category defining product dreams of. The cynics will never be satisfied, and that's fine. Publish the data and let it answer both.
I hope @deepigoyal does, and that Temple becomes the Indian wearable that invited scrutiny and passed.

One of the most valuable things in a 6-day hardware residency is time.
@Teja_Manchu Sai Teja understood that.
He generously made a Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer available to our builders so they could print, test, redesign and keep moving without waiting.
He even offered space at their institute if we needed it.
No big promises. Just real support when it mattered.
Thank you, Sai Teja and @nxtwave_tech !

What a finale for Hardware First Residency at @TWorksHyd T-Works! Thank you @jogitanikella Joginder sir for all your kind support.
After 6 days of building, our 8 builders got to put their working creations in front of people and demonstrate what they'd made.
A huge thank you to T-Works for hosting our showcase, inviting @g_satheeshreddy Dr. Satheesh Reddy as chief guest and giving builders the opportunity to interact with him.
And for supporting the builds themselves through 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
You helped us both build and showcase. Thank you!

Imagine needing a PCB in the middle of a 6-day hardware residency.
Now imagine getting it fabricated and shipped in just 24 hours.
That's what @LionCircuits made possible for our builders at Hardware First.
In hardware, waiting for a PCB can stop everything. You helped us keep building.
A massive thank you to the Lion Circuits team for making speed a reality.

A huge thank you to PCB Cupid @PcbCupid, @buildwithsrini Srinivas and Basavraj.
They didn't just support Hardware First Residency. They lived it.
PCB designs, product designs, engineering challenges, last-minute fixes. They stayed at the hacker house, worked late into the night and helped builders turn ideas into functioning hardware.
This is what real hardware ecosystem support looks like.
Thank you for going all in.

Amazing place. A beautiful robotics lab 😍
Thanks to @Teja_Manchu for taking us around.

our mini hardware residency already is coming to an end... we are surely doing this again soon.
if you are in hyd, don't miss the demo day, some kickass projects on display
Last 5 days felt like one longest hardware hackathon.
On the last day, 6 Nov, we are celebrating hardware builders and their creations at the world's biggest prototyping center. @TWorksHyd

We tried something. Brought 8 hardware builders together, gave them 6 days, a place to stay, tools, mentors, and the freedom to build.
Tomorrow, they’ll put their creations out for the world to try.
Come meet them. Your presence will mean a lot.
