There is absolutely zero chance of Russia ever invading the UK. The idea that giving £10 billion to Ukraine counts as defence is insulting warmongering nonsense. The arms manufacturers do not want peace. They want endless war.

Andreas Malm is one of the world's pre-eminent climate scholars.
Denying him entry is another example of how Britain's alliance with genocidal Israel is corroding our democracy.
I'll be interviewing Andreas Malm today.
Swedish academic Andreas Malm has been denied entry to the UK over his plans to appear on a panel alongside Palestine Action cofounder Huda Ammori because the gov't says his “presence in the UK is not considered to be conducive to the public good”.

Ukraine did this after Cuba spent hundreds of millions of dollars treating thousands of sick Ukrainian children from Chernobyl. Cuba spent 20 years providing specialised care they couldn't afford in Ukraine. Ukraine paid nothing, voting to starve Cuba was their payment I guess.

This is an absurd and outrageous decision.
What kind of society are we living in where world-renowned authors and campaigners are treated as enemies and threats? The real threat is this government’s assault on freedom of expression.
This is not an isolated incident — and the government should know that it is gaining a bad reputation for censorship and repression.
We know why the government has taken this decision: because it wants to silence criticism of Israel, as well as its own complicity in genocide. It will not succeed.
The leading advocate for climate justice and Palestinian rights has been blocked from coming to the UK by the Home Office. Politicians, academics and writers have condemned this outrageous act of censorship.

This is, for you, a bit confused. The bit you sort of admit toward the end, that it isn’t all ‘old’ people is the point -it’s the rich and its class based so it is about going after the rich and beyond that the capitalist system not old people

This is the first bad take I've read from you.
Here you argue along neoliberal lines, treating the old as a class. 60% of wealth are owned by the old? I'm pretty sure 60% of the wealth is also owned by men. Why not argue that men are the problem?

Israeli Regime blew up the house of Lebanese Journalist @radwanmortada in South Lebanon because he exposes Israeli War Crimes. Why doesn't EU condemn attacks on Journalists.? Why does EU ignore it when Israel kills Journalists..? Is it ok when Israel does it..?

In Paris 🇫🇷, I talked to Uber Drivers, Cafe workers, Teens, & various people in the city about the protests. Almost EVERYONE told us the same thing this man is saying. Everyone believes the police & paid agitators are the ones causing the violence in city

Brad, ur in Palestine. Pls exercise some humility. Listen more, lecture less. Framing the targeting of soldiers as a “cycle of violence” - rather than resistance 2 apartheid & genocide- while also not demanding US sanctions/arms embargo is asking Palestinians to die politely.
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.
