After many years of working in this space I'm proud to share this article about my learnings on incentives with experience from Aave and Euler. Enjoy
I don't think someone has to be a criminal to see how dystopic a fully onchain world without privacy would be.
After spending a lot of time reading through privacy maximalist forums, I have been thinking about the inseperable relationship between identity and privacy. I see hundereds of people consider identitiy as almost the opposite of privacy which is a very fundamental misconception.
I would define privacy as having the control power of what others can know about you. While anonymity hides who you are, privacy gives you a right to show something you choose to be seen in public. This distinction comes with significant advantages for the future applications on blockchain which we can discuss later on the comments.
So, I believe well designed identity systems can actually be the foundation of privacy. People should be able to establish a reputation and prove things without having to expose entire transaction history. Instead of disappearing from the public eye, the goal should be to gain control over what to reveal, to whom, and under what circumstances.
For me, identity and privacy are obviously should not be competing. It's possible and necessary to build a future they complement each other. I would love to hear the perspectives of the ENS @ensdomains @mely_jpg and Railgun @RAILGUN_Project @RailgunIntern communities on this since both work on Ethereum. Could identity actually be the missing piece in onchain privacy?
Computing AES by hand on paper makes me feel like I'm making fire by rubbing two sticks together. Yeah, eventually it works.
Ok maybe @StaniKulechov is the Zuck of tokenization

Tbh, I still like Polygon (Ex-MATIC) $POL and I believe it gets way less attention than it deserves.
I know saying good things about a project when it's investors have lost this much is not something people usually prefer. You know, being populist is way easy. I personally would rather have my own opinion, even if it goes against the crowd.
I still think Polygon has a very strong crypto-native identity and I think it might be among the top 5 projects that highest potential to bring new users into blockchain not necessarily by teaching them "crypto", but by powering apps people actually want to use.
Even the fact that Polymarket was built on Polygon is pretty respectable on its own. So, I believe current narrative around Polygon is kinda missing the bigger picture.

The EF should focus on making the L2s that are net sellers of $ETH pay a fair price for using the infra instead of lowering the revenue of the most aligned holders (stakers)

I've got my Ghost Pass thanks to @parisrouz and @aave. An article sharing my first impressions of the early access is coming in a couple of days. 👻🎟️
And this is exactly why DeFi is inevitable.
.@Revolut required me to explain why I am sending money (stables) to myself. And I had to use at least 50 characters. Let’s see if this works.
