Four of Kenya's eight Ebola cases worked in the Nairobi hospital that treated Patient Zero, including a patient attendant who cleaned linens. Containment is working, but protection has to cover every worker in the building, not just clinicians.
Also, keep in mind:
All new cases were already in quarantine. No community transmission reported. Contact tracing appears to be working. The strain is Bundibugyo which has no approved vaccine, so infection control is the main tool.
Cleaners, laundry staff and attendants face real exposure. They need the same equipment and training as medics. If you have fever, tiredness, muscle pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, call authorities at once.

The youth-state social contract isn't broken in one place, it's strained across many touchpoints at once: policing, elections, justice, civic space, opportunity.
Fixing it means everyone who touches those points talking to each other.

What a disgrace! Racism is not a joke, a personality trait, or an excuse rooted in ‘where I come from.’ It’s a violation of basic human dignity, full stop. Public figures, especially elected officials, have a heightened responsibility to reject hatred, not rationalize it. Kylian Mbappé deserves an apology, and so does everyone who has been targeted by this kind of language. Human dignity for all is not a slogan. It’s a commitment. #France #Paraguay
