Raging at @AlokSharma_RDG essentially telling those in the wedding sector to 'get better jobs' or turn to welfare in response to @Ed_Miliband just now. 500,000 workers - your government has just told you that your job isn't good enough for them to bother about. #whataboutweddings

according to @AlokSharma_RDG I need to get a "better job". I don't have a "job" I have a successful business that has had 80% of 2020s business postponed to 2021. I am a viable business that needs help to bridge the gap till weddings start again #whataboutweddings

@AlokSharma_RDG we don’t need ‘better jobs’, we need better from you. A better understanding for how our £14.7bn industry works. A better solution to ensure this incredible industry full of talent survives. We have the work, just let us get on with it. #whataboutweddings – at Wimborne Minster, England

Today @AlokSharma_RDG told @Ed_Miliband that those of us in the #EventsIndustry need to “get better jobs” perhaps @RishiSunak can explain to the minister for business how economic recovery works? I’d imagine you’ll miss that £84billion a year #WeMakeEvents #whataboutweddings

No thanks @AlokSharma_RDG. I am skilled, I don’t need retraining and there is no better job than the brilliant and viable one I have. #whataboutweddings
Great news that majority of @CambsSouth Councillors have made tackling racial inequality a priority. Unfortunate Cllr Roberts remains unconvinced white privilege is real & claims, “to suggest that Boris Johnson and the government are racist is utterly shocking and deplorable.” – at Histon, England
One councillor opposed the motion saying 'it’s racist to try and say that we are all privileged because we are white'

I took it upon myself to email her and let her know white privilege and systemic racism are very real. As a councillor her email address is available on the South Cambs website... @CambsSouth Her reply was less than polite. – at Histon, England

Councils will face a choice between cutting core services or bankruptcy unless Boris Johnson takes responsibility. #PMQs

In the middle of a pandemic, why is Boris Johnson blowing almost a million pounds to redecorate a plane?
Prime minister's official plane to be "rebranded" for £900,000
It is being repainted red, white and blue to "better represent" the UK

This is another welcome u-turn from Boris Johnson.
The thought of 1.3 million children going hungry this summer was unimaginable.
Well done to @MarcusRashford and many others who spoke out so powerfully about this issue.
