All other criticisms aside: it’s STUNNING that little/no attention is being given to fact that the US draft UNSC res re Gaza includes formal UN adoption of Trump’s 2020 plan — which in 2020 was widely recognized as a roadmap to permanent denial of Palestinian agency/sovereignty.
🚨Update: The US, Qatar, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Jordan and Türkiye issued a joint endorsement of Washington’s draft Security Council resolution on Gaza — released as Russia has circulated a competing version at the Council that removes Trump’s colonial-style governing body, the “Board of Peace,” and instructs the stabilization force to answer directly to the UN, not the “Board.”
Their joint statement claims the US text offers “a pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood” as well as “a viable path towards peace and stability.” The governments call the initiative “a sincere effort” and add: “We are looking forward to this resolution’s swift adoption.”

The US and Israel are trying to consolidate their colonial land grab in Gaza through a UN Security Council resolution that would impose an international force under US command and Israeli collaboration to reinforce the Gaza cage, disarm the Palestinian resistance, establish foreign colonial governance over Gaza, and compel Palestinians to beg for their rights with their oppressor. The co-perpetrators of the genocide are seeking UN authorization to take over the lives of the survivors and normalize the status of the perpetrators. Russia and China must stand firm against this abomination, and the UNGA must move now under Uniting for Peace to provide protection for Palestine and accountability for the Israeli regime.
🚨 BREAKING: Russia and China are pushing to remove the proposed “Board of Peace” from the U.S. draft resolution at the UN Security Council for a Gaza stabilization force, Associated Press reports, citing four U.N. diplomats briefed on the negotiations.
Russia and China are two of the five states with veto power over any resolution.
The news comes as the U.S. circulated a second revised draft to the 15-member Council today. The plan would give a UN mandate to an international force through 2027, working with a yet-to-be established colonial-style governing board chaired by Donald Trump alongside figures such as Tony Blair, which would temporarily run Gaza until the “Board of Peace” and Israel deem the Palestinian Authority has “satisfactorily completed its reform” and can govern Gaza.
Moscow, Beijing and several Arab states have raised concerns over the board, the absence of any transitional role for the Palestinian Authority, the weak language on a future Palestinian state, and the equally weak language on Israeli withdrawal, which would in practice leave the timing and conditions largely to Israel’s discretion.
One diplomat told AP that Russia and China want the draft cut down substantially — limiting it to authorizing a stabilization force that reports directly to the Security Council, without the U.S.-designed governing structure.

**المساعدات التي دخلت القطاع نقطة في بحر الاحتياجات**
- بعد يومين من الانفراجة ودخول وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ في قطاع غزة، تدفقت عشرات الشاحنات إلى القطاع المحاصر حصارا مطبقا من أكتر من 7 أشهر، لكن وفقا لبيان مكتب الإعلام الحكومي بغزة مساء الأحد كان عدد الشاحنات اللي تمكنت من دخول القطاع 173 شاحنة فقط.
- وفقًا للبيان الشاحنات تضمنت 3 شاحنات غاز بوتاجاز و6 شاحنات سولار لتشغيل المخابز والمولدات الكهربائية والمستشفيات، بجانب أغذية أساسية ومياه للشرب وغيرها.
- البيان أكد إن اللي دخل هو نقطة في بحر الاحتياجات اللي محتاجها القطاع، واللي هي من قبل سنتين الحرب كانت في نطاق الـ500 شاحنة، بينما القطاع المدمر والمجوّع لأشهر طويلة حاليا بيحتاج أضعاف الرقم دا للتعافي.
- "نقطة في بحر الاحتياجات" جملة اتكررت كتير على مدار سنتين من الإبادة وخصوصا في أوقات الهدنة القليلة اللي مرت على القطاع، وما زالت الجملة دي للأسف بتستخدم لأنه بالفعل احتياجات مليوني مجوع تعرضوا لحرب إبادة على مدار سنتين هي بحر فعلا في كل المجالات بداية من الغذاء والمياه اللازمة لإنقاذ أرواح الآلاف اللي بيعانوا من سوء تغذية حاد ومجاعة متفشية، إلى الأدوات الطبية والأدوية والوقود اللازم لتشغيل القطاع الطبي المنهار، بجانب الكرافانات والخيام اللازمة لإيواء مئات الآلاف اللي فقدوا منازلهم ودمرت بالكامل.
- وبالتالي المطلوب هو إعادة النظر في آلية إدخال المساعدات والضغط على الاحتلال للسماح بإدخال أعداد الشاحنات اللي تضمنها الاتفاق وعددها 600 شاحنة يوميا، على الأقل تكون بادرة للتأكيد على التزام الأطراف بخطة وقف إطلاق النار.
- خصوصا وإن الاحتياجات دي المفروض إن غالبيتها متوفرة داخل مخازن المنظمات الدولية خارج قطاع غزة، ودا اللي أكده فيليب لازاريني مفوض الأونروا اللي بيؤكد إنه لديهم في الغذاء الجاهز للنقل إلي القطاع لإطعام جميع سكانها لحوالي 3 أشهر.
- فلتكن هناك تحركات لإدخال المساعدات بما يكفي لإثبات أن كل المؤتمرات والزيارات والخطب والتفاخر بإنهاء الحرب حقيقية على الأقل.

حملة إعلامية كبيرة يقوم بها الاحتلال اليوم، على المعابر وقرب مراكز المُساعدات. صحفيون أجانب وأمريكيين، جاءوا للتأكد من أن "غزة لا تُعاني من مجاعة"!
في نفس الوقت، يستعد الاحتلال لإدخال كمية بضائع هائلة للتجار وشاحنات لم تدخل بأعداد سابقة، فقط لكسر هذه الرواية وإثبات عكس ما يقوله الإعلام.
لكن الحقيقة المطلقة الواضحة: إسرائيل تتحكم بالمجاعة وتُهندسها بطريقتها الخاصّة. أعداد الشاحنات، نوعية الطعام، ومواعيد الدخول.. ببساطة بعد غياب الصحفيين قد يتوقّف كلّ شيء.
وببساطة أكثر، لا يدخل طعام يكفي للجميع، لا تحصل المؤسسات على تأمين للمساعدات، ولا يصل الطعام لكلّ الناس الذين لا يستطيعون شراء البضائع التجارية بأثمان غالية..
لا تدخل الأطعمة الصحية كالبيض والألبان واللحوم، ولا تدخل الأدوية الكافية ولا المُعدات الطبيّة، ويدفع التجار مبالغ خيالية للتنسيقات لمرور البضائع، ما يعني عبئًا على المواطن المُرهق ماليًا ونفسيًا وجسديًا من النزوح والحرب!
