There has been a growing trend of users reporting unfair falsely bans allegedly caused by AI-automated moderation, including enforcement bans, Child Safety violations, terrorism-related violations, and asset moderation.
Thousands of accounts may have been affected by these banwaves, with users potentially losing Millions of dollars' worth of virtual assets and purchases.
I sincerely hope Roblox will take a closer look at its moderation system, investigate these reports, and ensure that innocent users are not unfairly penalized.

This happen on August 18, 2026, my friend shared evidence screenshot of two players harassing them. (who's a condon players) At 6:31 PM, I submitted a safety report in good faith to help protect my friend. Just 7 minutes later, at 6:47 PM, my account was unexpectedly falsely banned under the Child Safety category by AI-automation.
My termination case is unusual. I only reported the TOS violations of their behavior. Furthermore, the Child Endangerment allegation makes no sense, my account is in the adult age bracket and has been strictly restricted from communicating with younger users since the June 2026 safety updates.
AI could possibly clearly made a mistake. I have the rule-breakers' usernames, this screenshot is old.

Roblox has changed my ban 4 TIMES now, and now suddenly I'm being told I'm TERMED over a DMCA strike on MY OWN ITEM?! 😭 I'm genuinely in shock and so fucking frustrated right now.
Someone literally stole my UGC item, reuploaded MY work, and somehow I'M the one getting punished for it? How does that even make sense?! I've now got 11 days to gather and submit proof that I owned this item, which I DO have.
I've spent 8 YEARS of my life on Roblox, building, creating and putting so much time and effort into my account, only for it all to be taken away over something I didn't even do. I've lost an account worth around $5K $7K, and this is honestly heartbreaking. 💔
@Roblox please look into this properly and review my ban. I have been wrongfully terminated, and I just want my account back. Please give me a fair chance. 🙏

reading the rtc dms can really upset me. we get thousands of messages, and it isn't just "unban me" but just wanting a fair review because they do not even know WHY they are banned.

Many creators are speaking up about this Roblox AI false ban wave to help those who have been affected. Yet, Roblox decided to respond with what honestly seems like a lie that everyone already knew.
I genuinely believe this ban wave has affected tens of thousands of accounts, if not more. On X alone, I’ve seen hundreds of posts from people asking for help or publicly calling Roblox out. And that’s just the people who are actually speaking up. Imagine how many others have been affected but haven’t said anything, especially younger users who don’t even know where to ask for help or how to get their voices heard. These are accounts that people spent so much real money and time on.
What’s odd is that no matter how many people speak up or call Roblox out, nothing seems to work. People are still banned, appeals are still getting rejected, and Roblox has yet to officially acknowledge the issue or explain what’s going on. Day 74, I'm still waiting for a resolution regarding this false positive ban. I've lost approximately $5,500 worth of value (around 600K Robux). I've had a love-hate relationship with Roblox, especially because of its frustrating AI automated moderation system. 🙁
I previously had building commissions in games like Adopt Me and others, but now years of progress and work feel like they've been wiped away because of this termination. I mostly spent my time building on Roblox, rarely received any violations with follow the rules. I'm still confused about this moderation system could have triggered such a false positive.
My MIDR finally arrived on first October after a month of research and preparation. I'm still hoping for a fair review and, eventually, the restoration of my account (Sabatours)

Day 62: My Roblox account `Sabatours` still remains falsely banned by ai-automated despite being in good standing. I maintained a monthly Premium subscription and renewed on August 14, just four days before termination. I’ve lost access to 500–600K+ Robux in value.

My Roblox account `Sabatours` still falsely banned since August 18. I’m still seeking a ban reversal for a suspected false positive. My account was in good standing before termination, and I’ve lost access to 500–600K worth of robux value. I also paid for Premium on August 14 and many purchases, just four days before termination. Still awaiting a fair resolution.
