I got a thermal camera on Saturday (The UNI-T UTi260B+). Unfortunately their Android apk did not support that model. With the help of @deepseek_ai I have a full Linux client application for PC, after just two days. Supports other models too.

An eye on the board: a camera found the wrong board, and a t27 spec put the right one on the network
A USB camera now watches our FPGA bench. Its first frame read "ALINX" off a board our notes had called a QMTech Wukong for months: the same chip in a… t27.ai/blog/an-eye-on-the-bo…

Crazy! Thanks to @deepseek_ai and Open Source (probe_basic) I wrote a CNC controller GUI in one week, including touch probing and the simulator needed to test it

Before you edit an RTL file, see what the edit touches. trinet_node_core.v is pinned by sha256 in 5 specs, and 5 generators read those specs: radius 5 specs, 1 level. That is the set to re-pin after the edit.
`tri fpga-pins`, recorded run, real output:

LUT explain: a 7-series LUT6 INIT and its FASM line, read as logic
Paste a 64-bit LUT6 INIT or #FASM lines: truth table, minimal expression, the gate's name, what each feature sets. Then guess the gate on 4738 LUTs from a routed design. #FPGA

1/16 Every half-bridge hides a tiny bell: copper plus FET capacitance. Switch too hard and it rings, hundreds of millions of times a second.
I simulated a real open-source motor controller at 48 V. Driver at full strength: its 80 V FET takes an 81 V hit. Turned down: clean. 🧵

One measurement: openXC7 placed a SPK286 core on an Artix-7 at 188MHz, meeting the critical path timing needed for real-mode instructions.
