I finally made the Washington Post🍻
Looks like it's the Washington Commanders.
Now what are fans supposed to do with all that old Washington Football Team and Redskins stuff?

"My grandfather, we were really proud to have him on the [Redskins] helmet... He wasn't a mascot or a cartoon character. He was a real person who had a very rich history. And to lose [him] is quite a loss to all of us"
I sat down with the family of Chief Two Guns White Calf, the Blackfeet leader whose face was on the Washington Redskins helmet for decades. When the NFL erased the logo, they claimed it was offensive. But nobody ever consulted his family. Now, his direct descendants are speaking out, wanting their grandfather's face BACK on that helmet. And they've requested a meeting with @POTUS to help set the record straight:
"I put in a formal request with [Trump's] team, and we will go from there... One of the big things that I've kind of held off for this interview is that we are going to be reaching out to the sponsors who canceled his logo, and we're going to invite them to sit at the table at our cultural showcase down there in Washington, D.C. on November 20th."

The descendants of Blackfeet Chief John Two Guns White Calf want the Washington Redskins name and logo restored, arguing that the image honors their ancestor and preserves his legacy. Meanwhile, Native American advocacy groups have opposed the former branding, calling it offensive. One side sees disrespect, while the other sees family pride and cultural heritage. So who should have the greater say when it comes to honoring an ancestor, his own descendants or the activists who oppose the image?

The descendants of Blackfeet Chief Two Guns White Calf want the Washington Redskins name back.
They say the 2020 rebrand erased their ancestor's legacy without asking them.
They reportedly want to meet President Trump to push the effort.
Woke activists never asked actual Native families.
Bring back the Redskins.

It's kind of hilarious how you refuse to cover every major stakeholder in the Redskins name and logo continuing to push for getting both back. You're so cringe.

It’s time to restore this badge of honor that both the family of the creator of the logo and the family of the Chief who’s in the image are fighting to bring back. It’s inexplicable that it was deleted in the first place. @MagicJohnson @Markein @Commanders @NFL @ProFootballTalk
Seeing this logo always brings a deep sense of pride because it was designed by my grandfather, Walter "Blackie" Wetzel. In 1971, he walked into a meeting with the team to replace their old imagery and walked out having created something meant to genuinely symbolize the strength, pride, and service of Native communities. He didn't just advocate through art; he spent decades serving as a leader for the Blackfeet Nation and the National Congress of American Indians. Grateful to honor his memory and keep his story alive.

Hopefully, liberal white wokeness is headed out.
Let's restore the Washington Redskins.
Descendants of the chief who inspired the "Washington Redskins" logo accuse the football team of trying to erase them, call for a meeting with President Trump to get the name restored.
The family of Chief Two Guns White Calf says they were never asked about the name change.
"They tried to erase us, like we didn't exist anymore," said estate lead Kenneth Conway.
The descendants say the Redskins logo brought their family pride, and they want the chief to be remembered.
"They did not even ask our family for approval. They didn't ask for nothing from us. I mean, we literally got erased," said Brock Conway, as reported by WTVR.
"We're hopeful for a meeting with President Trump in order to help get this pushed forward," said Morningstar Gopher.
"There's a lot of diehard Redskins fans down in Washington, D.C. This would be a win-win, I think, for everybody. It would be a win-win for the family because it would be so honored and the history of their ancestor."
The name was removed in 2020 because liberals thought it was a slur. The Washington Commanders are building a new stadium, which is set to open in 2030.
Bring back the Redskins. It's time.

Here are the facts: The iconic Redskins logo was designed in 1971 by Walter “Blackie” Wetzel, a Blackfeet tribal leader, to honor Chief Two Guns White Calf. His descendants say the image represented pride, heritage and recognition, and they were never consulted before its removal in 2020.
I respect that some Native Americans opposed the name, but shouldn’t the family whose ancestor inspired the logo have a voice too?
I’ve supported bringing back the Redskins name and logo for years. Honoring Native American history and respecting Native American voices shouldn’t be mutually exclusive.
Bring back the Redskins. HTTR!
