For the first time, the DSA Convention had an international political exchange with dozens of socialist organizations and unions. It was one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever seen as a DSA member, and I had the great privilege of having some time to briefly speak as well. 🌹
We're sending delegates to an important convention, but we need your help to cover travel costs. Every bit counts! Please consider donating and sharing to support this cause. gofund.me/1a4a7977

Today, I got to hand-deliver a letter addressed to the Penn State president, provost, and vice provost alongside fellow graduate workers formally stating our intent to file for a union election. We marched together, and we’re ready to bring democracy to the workplace together.

I'm so happy to be able to say that Penn State graduate workers are unionizing! Our rally today brought out over 200 people who are ready to fight for better wages, the expansion of our rights, and a democratic workplace. Our labor has power, and that power belongs to us.

I’m so excited to have been elected co-chair of @centrecodsa! Even though I’ve only just begun my life in State College and with the chapter, I hope to lead it as best I can and foster its activity like it’s my own community, because now, it is. 🌹
