You can make a massive difference to someone’s day just by saying good morning and hello to everyone you go past. If you’ve never tried it, it’s worth a shot, but you could be the reason someone has a better day. We are all in it together.

I made this simple guide for anyone who lives in the UK and for some reason insists on "working".
HMRC has quietly sent hundreds of letters to wealthy people asking them to reveal what they own. Not what they earn or what tax they've paid, but what they own.
Here's what's going on. A unit called the Wealthy Team covers anyone with "incomes of £200,000 or more, or assets equal to or above £2m in any of the last three years". That's about 850,000 people. The letters ask for a meeting to discuss "sources of wealth", "future intentions", trusts, companies, family arrangements and even "significant life events" you expect in the coming years.
It is presented as voluntary, but there's a nudge: "We may still need to carry out compliance checks on your tax returns. However, speaking with you first may help avoid this."
Until now, inspectors have usually only asked about income and earnings. Experts call this a "sea change". One lawyer asked the obvious question: "does HMRC have a right to know what someone owns and not simply that they have paid the right amount of tax?" A tax adviser said: "No other G20 country asks for this level of detail from its taxpayers about what they own."
So what is it for? Advisers suspect it is groundwork for an exit tax, a charge on your wealth for leaving the country. As one put it: "Building that knowledge could indeed be part of moving towards an exit tax."
You don't have to be a billionaire to see the problem.
For all those UK night workers out there who are, like me, too stingy to pay for heating. Put your uniform in a pillow case and put it under the blankets/duvet. Just got into mine and it was toasty warm already. I am my own radiator.
Nothing annoys me more than people who email me, and I ignore them, because they're trying to sell me something and they have me subscribed to even more emails that come in and pretend like they're trying to communicate like normal people.
Ok SEO specialist. If my site is so bad, how come I have enough customers to handle? How come with your team of over 100 specialists, you can't do good enough SEO for yourself to pay them?
White Label App developer... Good lord.
Just remember two things. Starmer was their choice and the best they had. Now Burnham is their choice and the best they have. Everyone else is currently worse. :) I hope the people who voted for them are really considering the current situation.
Colchester Council deserves a bit of love. They didn't even know I was me! Even though me is the one paying them so I can suffer with the local littering problems and their people not taking my rubbish and making us all pay for our own collection. FANKS CONSHYSTER CONCEALMENT
Streamer awards was rigged... I should run my own shabby version: Most shipped couple? @Tectone and @Asmongold, Most Jewish? @Nux_Taku --- I should think about it. XD
Yet again the riot client loads in the bottom right of my screen. I have to reload using task manager to find I'm now banned from playing for 15 minutes. This is really annoying. At least give players the chance to make up for the terrible client.
Ok guys, I think I've found a really good way to deal with these people adding us to stupid lists. This waste of time has blocked me which is absolutely fantastic, because I was waking up with a fire in my heart ready to unleash hell.
So what you do is simple. Screenshot the list, and post a message to their pinned post or something recent they have posted calling them out. It shows their followers exactly what kinda subhuman troglodyte they are.
The thing is, I don't like blocking anyone. Anyone can turn around and become a decent human being, heck I don't mind turning around and even becoming friends with someone who actively hates me.
If he hadn't wised up and removed me/blocked me, I would have proceeded to do a thorough personality analysis of the user and written an article on them.
I know it's aggressive, but damn, when I slog my life away trying to create things, help people and build a better world, I despise people who add me to these things in an offensive way, not to keep up with me, but just so I end up being targeted by random low follower acounts that they probably own.
I was on a list called "Witlings" in this scenario. Now I am not, and the cowardly custard, rather than letting me have my say or apologising runs away.
I'm done being trolled by subhumans on this platform. God bless the lot of you.

X is weird. One minute I’m doing badly at league as a support. The next I’m climbing and have a new carry friend (we only do normals at the moment but I’ve finally realised a lot of my flaws with the current meta.
I think things have been viral enough to finally be able to say that anyone who still has a 🇵🇸 in their bio is firmly on board with terrorism and the sacking of France.
Stephen King's work is rather disturbing in only one real area for me. Child abuse.
Gerald's Game
Dolores Claiborne

The Library Policeman
Carrie
The Institute
Firestarter
The Talisman
The Shining
Doctor Sleep
It's one of the main reasons I tend to steer clear of it. That and the fact it's generally rather boring, and I feel more horror from the drudgery of reading it than actually from the work itself.
