Hurricane Helene has devastated parts of North Carolina. As you may know, our fellow tech friend, LGR, was affected by this storm.
🙏For every retweet this posts gets, I will donate $1 to relief efforts.

#MARCHintosh continues with 23 more videos added to the playlist. Original iMac commercials, iMac intro videos, WWDC 98 Hardware Keynote, PowerBook G3 videos, and more. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…

Dave, like many others in the retro community, was scammed by Sean Rox (GeekWithSocialSkills) - please do NOT trade, sell or buy from this individual! ⛔️
They are a convincing scam artist who preys on the kindness we have in this community!
⚠️ Please be cautious and SHARE! ⚠️

I was looking at buying an iMac G3 last year and noticed the interior bezel was cracked -- that's deadly to these beautiful machines. Now there's a Kickstarter by MacEffects to make new bezels! kickstarter.com/projects/mac…
Just watched Computer Chronicles' Visual Programming Languages (1993) ep. They demoed ProGraph and Serius Workshop. HyperCard was also covered, noting that it's not a visual language but it's awesome, and the WindowScript add-on. youtu.be/AEkweKSdnHM?t=276 @EricsEdge @maccyandme

Just recapped the logic board on my new LC III last night... but what's this on the porch? A big box, a Console5 box, and a little pouch. I'll have to open them later... #MARCHintosh #LCseason
I spent the day recapping the LC III's power supply and trying to get it back to working condition. The polarity silkscreen for the C22 capacitor is backward! It's running without sound (it didn't have clear sound before). May have to remove the sound chip and clean under it???
What's in the big box??? It's an LC III+ (wearing the consumer market name Performa 460)! 33MHz of rawwww '030 power. Plus the Console5 capacitor kit for it and a VGA adapter. #MARCHintosh #LCseason #technicallyLC
