Normally I'd be quite alarmed to see my name on the obituaries page of the Daily Telegraph, but in this case it's because a book I wrote with the renowned motor racing and aviation artist Michael Turner, who passed away in December, gets a mention. Lovely tribute to a lovely man.

Lost a dear friend this week to leukaemia, exactly one month after being diagnosed. There are some sh1ts in this world, and some of them walk among us, but he wasn't one of them. Life is cruel and unfair sometimes.

Visionary entrepeneur John Webb, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 92, will forever be synonymous with @Brands_Hatch, the circuit he ran until his retirement in 1989.

The team at MotorSport Vision (MSV) is saddened to learn that John Webb, who oversaw Brands Hatch’s era as the home of British and European Grands Prix throughout the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, has died in Spain at the age of 92.
