Pastor Craig’s message at Grace Family Church this morning centered around staying true to our mission. Our focus shouldn’t be on making things better for ourselves and just enjoying life. It should be to share the light of Christ and help others find Him. Is there one person who is searching who I could help today? Luke 15:4

Over 60 Orthodox Christians in Ethiopia were murdered by radical Islamic extremists acting under the conviction that such violence fulfills a divine mandate—drawn from texts like Surah 9. Jesus said this would happen because they don't know the true God (John 16:2-3).

You have 7 days left to vote for the country you want to see. For the values you want upheld. For the freedoms you want protected. I pray you will utilize this precious gift, afforded to us by our founding fathers and protected by patriots like my Charlie, to stand up for conservative values this election cycle. I used the Freedom Ticket that was worked on tirelessly by our @TPAction team, and I hope you’ll do the same: ticket.tppac.com Your voice matters. Use it.

I once asked Billy Graham, “If an older Billy could speak to a younger Billy, what advice would you give yourself?” I will never forget his answer. He said, “I would tell myself to speak more on the cross of Christ and the blood that He shed.” Then he concluded, “That’s where the power is!” This culture needs to hear the gospel. They need to hear that God loved them so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for their sin. We can’t preach a “crossless gospel.” Sometimes in our attempts to “cross over,” we don’t bring the cross over.

Too often in our lives, our happiness is not self-contained. Rather, it’s contingent on good things happening. We convince ourselves that if we could just get that raise at work or if we could just meet the right person or if we could just own the object of our desires, then we would be happy. Until those things happen, our happiness is on hold. If something fun or exciting happens, we may experience happiness for a brief time. But when the fun or excitement ends, so does the happiness. In other words, our happiness depends on certain things occurring. But being blessed is a different concept altogether. Blessings depend on God. They don’t ebb and flow based on circumstances or moods. You can experience God’s blessings regardless of what’s happening in your life. You can be blessed in even the worst circumstances. That’s the idea of makarios. The amazing news is that God wants to bless you. Jesus said, “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom” (Luke 12:32 NLT). What would pursuing God look like in your life?

REMINDER: Politics matters because policy matters because people matter. How you vote — and that you vote — matters. It is a right and a blessing that we have a say in our, our children’s, and our neighbors’ rights. Loving your neighbor and being involved politically aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, politics is a way to love your neighbor. Not the primary way, not the only way, but a way. Abortion affects your littlest neighbor. Gender deception affects your confused neighbor, your abused neighbor, your female athlete neighbor. Immigration affects your citizen neighbors, especially the most vulnerable ones. Crime affects your innocent neighbors, especially the weakest ones. The list goes on. The politicians you vote for and the policies they advocate for have an impact - for better or for worse - not only on you and your children, but on the most defenseless among us. There is no perfect party, politician, or policy. Yet, even knowing human fallibility, God has designated the responsibility of lawmaking, doling out justice, and punishing evil to the government. In America, we have a rare gift: to get a say in what that government looks like. The government isn’t a parent, the church, or a charity. It’s an institution meant to preserve our sovereignty, protect the innocent, and create order. We vote for the candidate that is best suited to do these things. Most Christians throughout history and around the world today do not have the freedom to directly and freely shape the policies of their country. Yet Christians have always been involved in culture and policy. Both in liberty and in tyranny, Christians have advocated on behalf of children, against lawlessness, and for moral order. It’s how we got rid of infanticide in ancient pagan Rome, how we abolished slavery in the West, and overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. Many of the issues on the line today - abortion, gender, marriage, parental rights - aren’t primarily political issues, they’re Biblical ones. Being silent about them isn’t opting out of being “political.” It’s opting out of being Biblical. Vote. Because politics affect policy and policy affects people. And people matter — to God and to us.

One of the churches that @SamaritansPurse partners with in Ukraine was hit by a missile last Sunday. We thank God that no one was killed, but as you can see, their building was destroyed. Please pray for churches, pastors, and congregations across Ukraine, that God would protect and help them as they minister to their hurting communities, and bring lasting peace to the region.

Pastor Daryl gave the message today at Grace Family Church. We’re in a series called Living Different and he spoke on how to handle being offended. He spoke from Luke 9:51-56. “Every offense doesn’t require confrontation and the goal of confronting should be reconciliation.” His big point was that when we get offended we should think before we respond. Then decide if it’s worth responding and if so, what is the best ways to respond to make the situation better.

May we never forget what Hamas did to Israel on this day three years ago. The murders, the torture, the rape, the rampage that took 1,200 lives as they swept in on unsuspecting people who just wanted to live in peace. I was there very shortly after and walked through the kibbutzes and spoke with survivors. It was unimaginable evil. And Hamas' decision to launch this attack led to the destruction of most of Gaza and the suffering of many more people. Pray for the “peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6), as the Word of God tells us.

Let’s join together in prayer for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. This conflict has been going on for more than four years, with estimates of over 2 million deaths and injuries—that’s longer than World War I and than U.S. involvement in WWII. This week, President @realDonaldTrump said that 25,000 lives—mostly military—are being lost every month. So tragic. He’s right: “It’s time to stop the killing.” Pray that God will work in the hearts of President Putin and President Zelenskyy to bring peace, and give President Trump the wisdom he needs. cnbc.com/2026/09/23/ukraine-…

The transgender agenda is evil. It’s a deception, a lie from hell. The Bible tells us that the devil is the “father of lies” and that he “deceives the whole world.” For school boards, school administrators, and politicians to allow the transgender agenda to be taught—to be pushed on students—and to hide it from parents is wrong, and it's dangerous. I’m so glad that these families had the guts to stand up and fight—and now they have won. Thank you @FirstLiberty_ and the National Center for Law & Policy for helping them. We need more parents across our country to stand firm against these ungodly agendas that harm our children. billygraham.org/decision-mag…

Nike's 18-year run on the S&P 100 is officially over after it hit its weakest valuation in 12 years. Critics say the company's decade of "woke" messaging is to blame. Shares of the sportswear giant are down 43% on the year, with Nike losing some $200 billion in market cap since its 2021 peak as it faces stiff competition. And it's not just for products. Soccer superstar Kylian Mbappé is ending his roughly 20-year run with Nike to sign a sponsorship deal with On. Jeff Flock explains what's next for the sports giant.
