RIGHT?? Whenever I look through YUTA’s solo credits, I can really feel how much thought and care the A&R team has put into his music. From Kevin D, Joowon, Kaizen, and Akira, who have been helping shape his solo identity since Depth, to K Thrash, the songwriter and producer behind Prisoner, who has also worked on HYDE’s albums; BACK-ON, his Avex seniors, who wrote and composed Two of Us, Playback, and Dreams Never Sleep; Lukas Costas, the composer of Twisted Paradise, who mainly works on pop music; and Lucky West, the producer behind To Love Someone, who has worked extensively with American rock artists — the list also includes producers who have previously worked with other SM artists, as well as emerging producers making their debut in the industry. There’s such a fascinating range of creators involved in his albums, and I can’t help wondering how all these people were brought together. Who found whom, how the songs made their way to YUTA, what kind of sound or direction he was looking for, and how his ideas shaped the final tracks. Every time a new album comes out, I get so curious about the whole process behind it. I’d genuinely love to hear the stories behind these collaborations and see how all these different creative minds come together to bring his music to life. We need proper bts videos.
