Look around any town, and you will find numerous churches of different denominations, each conducting their services differently on a Sunday morning.
Some of them observe a liturgical form in elaborate buildings; others are more free form with contemporary music in modern spaces; some meet in arenas, and others in homes.
But outside of the book of Acts, do we have any evidence from the first decades of Christianity that gives us an indication of how the first Christians worshipped?
Here’s a quick look at the Epistle of Clement of Rome to the Corinthians, written in the first century. Notice the clues it gives us into how the earliest Christians prayed and worshipped when they gathered on the Lord’s Day.

In my later Evangelical years, it became increasingly important to me to somehow reclaim the worship experience of the earliest Christians
My assumption being that outside of the book of Acts, we didn't have any reliable records of what that looked like
But it turns out we do
