There's a campaign under way to keep Ashok Kumar off the airwaves because he's too effective. That's all this is.
📣 Alex Hearn, of Labour Against Antisemitism, said: 'It is staggering that the BBC invited him to come on air and then gave him free rein to launch a disgusting attack against a Jewish guest and tell her she was wrong about her identity and experiences of anti–Semitism.'

I’m not sure how anyone can claim to have leftist ideals without it being rooted in anti-imperialism. If your critique of capitalism doesn’t include imperialism then you’re not doing it right.
The reasons so many liberals like Lula is because he’s safe enough to the social democrats in Europe and the West. Also because Brazil’s right-wing congress is going to be opposing him at every turn. People shouldn’t place their ideals on Lula. Though he started more radically, he’s not a revolutionary and never was to begin with. But in LATAM the choice is between that and a paramilitary fascism. If you don’t understand this and that it is not the United States your analysis is moot. It’s not Trump vs Biden here, so don’t look at it that way. A Lula victory didn’t erase his bad policies on Haiti or Venezuela but it does put a damper on the Donroe Doctrine of Epstein takeover of Latin America, full of Zionism and total Milei-style destruction. Brazil is the largest economy in Latin America. The aim was to hand it to Bolsonaro so the Epstein regime could reign in totality. For now, that’s not going to be the case. It doesn’t erase Lula’s failures but it does hold off a complete take over. What many Western leftists don’t grasp is that in countries like Brazil, where some people don’t have power, water access, roads and basic needs met, sometimes the ideals of many who live in the west fall flat, especially the ones in the US. We can’t even elect milquetoast candidates like Lula and then lecture Brazilians about politics and judge Venezuela so harshly. We all see what’s happening in Latin America. But please go live there for a week, without luxuries and tell me how your ideas do when you’re constantly under interventions, sanctions, impoverished, and dealing with not having enough food or water. Until western leftists realize their ideals don’t measure up to realities people face, they’re never going to get people on their side. Liberalism isn’t the answer, it’s the opening to fascism. But there needs to be a strong anti imperial core that is compassionate and understanding of where people are—and that’s lacking. The average person cares about their jobs, children and food on the table, not about historical references to revolutions that have little to do with their material conditions. This doesn’t mean you don’t work toward that via education and conversation. But people need to be ready. If they’re not all the effort in the world won’t change their mind. It’s especially obnoxious to be lectured by western leftists who have never endured many of the hardships these people face every day and parachute on social media with arrogant analysis of how this win isn’t such a big deal. It is for those who depend on social programs, for those who want sovereignty and food on the table. If you want to erase capitalism start by understanding you can’t do it electorally when the world runs on it including supposed communist countries. Let’s be for real here.

Sigh… Why are the right so gullible man? Do they genuinely believe Iran is going to launch an attack on the US despite not starting a war for fucking centuries? Or are they just drunk on the bloodlust of slaughtering brown folk in countries they couldn’t identify on a map?
BREAKING: Trump administration officials are 'expressing fears that Iran is in the advanced stages' of planning attacks against American officials, according to New York Times report.

Has @andyburnham checked with the Board of Deputies yet to see if he’s allowed to congratulate @LulaOficial?

The equivalent of making Jimmy Saville the preeminent children’s entertainer for several decades….. Oh wait, we did that too!
i’m sorry but you will not convince me that the government is truly preparing for imminent war and they’re putting wes streeting in charge of our defence.

Heres your ‘moderate’ opposition to Satanyahu!!

If people dislike that 4 private corporations have monopolized the food industry, then why do they still eat food?
If people dislike Elon Musk so much, why do they still use the platform he owns?

To be charitable to Kruger and Jenrick, I don't think either of them personally believes that Kemi Badenoch is a 'Nigerian scammer' or an illegal immigrant. But they won't condemn those comments because they damn well know Reform's electoral base is largely made up of racists.

US liberals are insane!! Yay for democracy but also yay for kidnapping, jailing and replacing the democratically elected President of Venezuela!! Imperialists just the same as the people they claim to oppose!
Brazil rejected Bolsonaro. Serbia's students beat Vučić. Machado is home in Venezuela. What a day for democracy.

Lol at this cunt trying to claim Lula! Establishment democrats are absolutely comfortable with ‘extremism’ abroad where it suits US imperial interests. You’ve supported genocide and ethnic cleansing for three fucking years, two of which you had the power to stop it! Fuck off
Far-right extremism is on the run here in America. And throughout the world.

If the far right weren’t funded by the ‘Captains of Industry’ they would be a gaggle of weirdo virgins in basements fantasising about race war. Anyone who thinks Robinson, Thommo and the lads do this because of strongly held beliefs are beyond help. Its all about the cash!!

If you don't think channelling huge sums of money into the coffers of BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon will advance the class struggle you're possibly not understanding social democracy correctly from a Marxist viewpoint
Spotted leaving No 11 tonight: Paul Mason. Said he was there to help an old friend. John Healey has been fine-tuning his budget speech all weekend.
