I spent some time with the @Stacks Q3 report, and I keep coming back to 97%, that's the share of stBTC supply already posted as collateral on Zest.
That matters because of where stBTC comes from..
Bitcoin Staking went live this quarter, and the first two bonds (fixed windows where BTC is locked to earn BTC yield) brought in about 735 BTC, with 230 BTC in the Genesis Bond from names like 21shares, HashKey Cloud and UTXO Management, and 505 BTC in Bond 2.
Stacking DAO's stBTC, a liquid token that represents staked BTC, took 483 of that 505 BTC, so most of the new Bitcoin entered through a token that could be put to work right away, and it was.
Zest now holds $122M in deposits and $42M in borrows, and weekly DEX volume reached a 12-month high of $16.7M with Bitflow leading.
Staked Bitcoin is being lent against and traded within weeks of arriving, which tells me the apps were ready for it before the capital showed up.
Staked $STX rose from 392M to 493M, about 26%, but 392M was the amount holders restaked after the PoX-5 hard fork unlocked everyone, so a good part of this is people returning alongside some new capital.
It still matters because STX now acts as the capacity that lets BTC bond, which means more STX staked leaves more room for Bitcoin to come in.
Daily active users averaged around 1,010 and the network added roughly 12K new users, so the capital is growing faster than the user base for now.
In Q4 I will be watching whether the monthly bonds keep growing and whether that Bitcoin keeps finding places to work, since that is where the loop either holds up or stalls

Crypto doesn't need more complexity. It needs a better user experience.
One of the biggest barriers to mainstream crypto adoption is how difficult it can be for the average person to navigate the ecosystem.
Different wallets for different assets.
Complicated wallet addresses.
Multiple platforms for trading, earning, and managing funds.
For someone new to crypto, it can quickly become overwhelming.
This is why @deficom caught my attention.
The idea of bringing essential financial services into one unified experience is interesting, especially when the focus is on making crypto more accessible without losing sight of user ownership.
Here's what makes the vision worth exploring:
โ Self-custody: Giving users greater control over their digital assets instead of relying entirely on centralized intermediaries.
โ defi ID: Making crypto transactions more convenient with a simpler identity for sending and receiving funds.
โ Trading and earning: Bringing financial opportunities closer together so users can manage more of their crypto activities in one place.
โ Everyday payments: Connecting digital assets with real-world spending is an important step toward making crypto useful beyond speculation.
โ Privacy and control: Building around the idea that people should have more control over their financial lives.
What stands out to me is the bigger picture.
Crypto adoption isn't just about creating new tokens or launching another protocol. It's also about making the technology easier for people to understand and use.
If we want more people to enter this space, we need products that reduce friction instead of adding more steps.
That's the problem @deficom is looking to address.
The vision is compelling. Now, it'll be interesting to see how the platform delivers on that promise as its features develop.
Because ultimately, the projects that make crypto easier to use could play an important role in bringing the next wave of users on-chain.

Pumpfun has to be the most retarded team in web3 history.
Yesterday, some certain Pumpfun maxis were luckily ripping rolex from packs.....
Today, Kimchi joins Pumpfun and hits $40M just a few hours later.
You genuinely can't make this shit up.

Big milestone for @xStocksFi as they become the first tokenized stock issuer to surpass $100M in DeFi deposits.
Robinhood follows with $74.4M, while Binance bSOL sits at $38.3M.
Tokenized stocks are gaining traction in DeFi, and this is just the beginning.

We've talked about zkTLS and FHE.
Now, where could these technologies actually be useful?
This is where @primus_labs gets interesting.
zkTLS focuses on making information from the web verifiable, while FHE enables computation on encrypted data.
Different technologies, but both could help applications make better use of data without unnecessary exposure.
Let's look at two examples.
1. On-chain reputation
Your reputation doesn't exist only on-chain.
You might have years of trading activity on exchanges or a track record on other online platforms.
But how can you prove that history to a Web3 application without revealing unnecessary personal information?
With zkTLS, users could potentially prove specific claims about their activity on supported websites.
For example, an application could check whether a user meets certain activity requirements without needing their entire account history.
This could make reputation and eligibility systems more flexible while reducing unnecessary data exposure.
2. Confidential financial applications
Blockchains make transactions transparent, but that transparency can be a challenge when sensitive financial information is involved.

Imagine an application that needs to calculate a result using private financial data.
FHE allows computations to be performed on encrypted data without decrypting it first.
This could enable applications to process sensitive information while keeping the underlying data confidential during computation.
The challenge is making these systems practical, efficient, and secure enough for real-world use.
The bigger opportunityis that your online activity could become useful beyond the platform where it originated, while privacy remains part of the equation.
But how does Primus fit into the bigger picture of Web3 infrastructure?
We'll look into that nxt

Yesterday, I talked about zkTLS and how it can help verify web data without exposing all your personal information.
What if you could compute on it without decrypting it first?
That's where Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) comes in.
Applications need access to readable data to perform certain computations. This can create privacy risks when sensitive information is involved.
FHE allows computations to happen directly on encrypted data, keeping the underlying information hidden throughout the process.
Think about the possibilities:
โช๏ธ Smart contracts processing encrypted inputs.
โช๏ธ Financial applications handling sensitive information more privately.
โช๏ธ On-chain systems that don't need to expose every detail publicly.
Of course, FHE still faces practical challenges, including computational costs.
But here's what interests me about @primus_labs:
zkTLS helps verify information from the web, while FHE enables computation on encrypted data.
Different technologies, one bigger goal of making data useful without sacrificing privacy.
But where could these technologies make a real difference in everyday applications?
I'll speak on that nxt

new banner guys ๐๐
but there's always a lore behind everything yh?
and this is mine~one thing I've come to understand is that you won't always have people who understand what you're trying to build.
even you might have days when you start questioning if you're doing the right thing.
but if you believe in an idea, give it a fair chance.
learn what you need to learn, make mistakes, improve, and keep going.
