Discord told users it doesn’t look at their messages, calls, or other content when sorting accounts by age. Florida is now suing Discord because it doesn’t look at their messages, calls, or other content. The complaint objects that Discord’s filters only scan images and videos and leave text, voice, and calls untouched.
It lists voice and video channels as an unfair practice. It wants ID checks before users can be seen or share anything.
The state is seeking up to $150,000 per violation and a court order to make it happen.
Florida calls this child safety but it's a demand that nobody on Discord gets to have a private conversation again.

A new data breach involving Double Counter has exposed information connected to Discord users affecting around 275,000 unique email addresses.
According to Have I Been Pwned, the exposed data includes:
-Email addresses
-Discord usernames
-Names
-Geographic information
-Country and postcode for some paying subscribers
The breach was linked to a vulnerability in Metabase, the analytics platform used by Double Counter.
If you’ve used Double Counter on Discord, check whether your email was affected and stay alert for phishing attempts or suspicious Discord messages.

If you actually believe that your an idiot, It's gonna be AI determining it, not a person.
Your Account could be as old as the Platform and it will probably think you created the account right after your mom popped you out.
What's more likely to happen is that Most users will either be falsely classified or they're AI couldn't determine your Age Bracket.
I hope Discord loses more users and more Nitro Subscriptions because of this.
And here's to hoping a new Private focused platforms comes along.
