Spare us the lecture on “regime change is normal in a democracy.” You know exactly what the phrase means when Prashant Bhushan and AISA’s Neha Bora use it while invoking Bangladesh’s Gen Z street movement that toppled a government outside the electoral calendar. That is not “oppose, expose and depose through elections.” That is a deliberate attempt to normalise extra-constitutional pressure, street veto and manufactured unrest. If it is only about elections, why the hurry? Why the Bangladesh template? Why frame protests against the Election Commission as a “fight for regime change”?In a real democracy, governments change when voters decide at the ballot box, not when a handful of activists and opposition leaders decide the system is “dictatorial” the moment they keep losing. You yourself have used the phrase in purely electoral contexts before. The difference is context, and this context reeks of anarchy-shopping. The BJP is not “apoplectic with feigned rage.” We are simply refusing to pretend that “regime change” + Bangladesh reference = routine parliamentary opposition. India is not Bangladesh. Our institutions, our voters and our Constitution will decide the next government in 2029, not street theatrics dressed up as high principle. Do your job in Parliament and on the campaign trail. Stop trying to import instability and then gaslight the country about dictionary definitions.
Why is the BJP apoplectic with feigned rage on the use of the phrase 'regime change'? 'Regime change' is normal in a democracy The duty of the Opposition is to 'oppose, expose and depose' the government Which means: oppose in politics, expose in Parliament and depose through elections

It's not Bull vs Bear anymore. It's FII vs Retail. Retail is sitting near all-time high long positioning. FIIs are heavily on the short side. Who blinks first? 👀 Something coming soon. Tick tock tick. #Nifty #BankNifty #FII #Retail #IndianMarkets

#WATCH | Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala | On the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "Obviously, there was no full proof intelligence. There was some failure... But we have got the example of Israel, the world's best intelligence services according to everybody, which were taken by surprise on October 7, just two years ago. It seems to me, just as Israel is waiting till the end of the war before they demand accountability, similarly, I think we too should see the present crisis through and then demand accountability from the government. No country can ever have a foolproof 100% intelligence. We will never know about the various terror attacks that were successfully thwarted. We only get to know about the ones that we failed to thwart. This is normal in any nation. There were failures, I agree, but that should not be our main focus right now..."

Child: Papa, how exactly does the stock market work ? Papa: Well, you put your money into it and for some reason, your stock goes down. Then, you panic and sell and someone smarter than you buys it and makes money instead. #Goodmorning

Government and policy makers should consider removing tax on dividends and bank deposits.. Taxing dividend and bank interest amounts to double taxation. @nsitharaman @IncomeTaxIndia #budget2025 @FinMinIndia @narendramodi

Elon Musk: “So many people, including smart people, think there are too many people in the world and think the population is growing out of control. It's completely the opposite. Please look at the numbers. If people don't have more children, civilization is going to crumble.”
