like a twin-engine jet, the adult male is actually designed to withstand the loss of one of David Jones or Myer
my back's been sore for weeks and 20 somethings are on reels digging into "Obama era indie music". it's so over, box me up
crazy to think that just a decade ago they were mostly still putting the news in the post, if not the headline
watching the honeyeaters in my courtyard and dreaming of some day being rich enough to put one on my wall
engagement bait take obv, but here's nine that come to mind for me from 1995. there are no 'bad years in music', partic not the mid 90s!
Not one great album here.
1995 was a weirdly bad year for music. The post-grunge explosion had faded, and 2nd wave emo and post-rock were about to emerge but hadn't yet, along with bands like Modest Mouse.
The best records that year were probably "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx," "Wowee Zowee," "To Bring You My Love," "Ghost of Tom Joad," Garden Variety's "Knocking the Skill Level," and the first Sparklehorse album (which I had forgotten came out in '95).
an underdiscussed story coming out of last weekend's grand final is that that was likely the day I caught the flu
Banfield delisting and Switta retiring is a critical good guy loss. top of the draft whiteboard i want to see the words "woke" and "boyfriend material"
20 minutes at Adelaide airport apparently enough to make you google are there more redheads in South Australia
the line the other week was Freo were cowards for playing wharfie time up by 8 points with 90 seconds left. now this week it's a premature celebration. I dunno but it seems like you guys don't have a fully formed point and just like sinking the boot in wherever you can?
That Wharfie Time celebration was the biggest premature ejaculation in the history of the AFL. #afl
