Boring fixes, shipped.
No new feature today. Just making the site you already use more solid.
Prices, stats and burn numbers no longer wait on slow outside sources. If one lags, you see the last known figure with the time it was read, never an old number dressed up as live.
The server used to stall for 5 seconds now and then on simple lookups. We found it and fixed it.
And when the server hiccups now, it writes down exactly what it was doing, so the next one names its own cause.

Locked LP is sellable now. On devnet, for now.
Every coin that graduates on $COMETAIL has a locked DAMM v2 position earning fees. In the deal room, the creator can list that position and sell it for SOL.
We tried to break it. When a seller split the position or sent it away in the middle of a deal, the sale failed on chain and the buyer kept their money.
Then we ran 120+ test sales through Phantom in one weekend. Enough that Phantom put our test server in timeout for a while.
Next up: @solflare and @Backpack , and lots of deals happening at once.

The deal room has pages now.
Browse listings, make an offer, agree on a price and close the sale together, all on cometail.fun, and built to work on your phone.
We ran the timing test again on the real pages. 10 out of 10 deals made it in time on normal days, and 9 and 8 out of 10 when Phantom was slow.
You can also mute pings from one seller or one listing, instead of all or nothing.
Next up: locked LP. Every coin that graduates on $COMETAIL has a DAMM v2 position earning fees, and we're making those sellable too. The sale checks the position wasn't split or claimed in between, so the buyer gets exactly what they agreed to.
Still on devnet. Our tests even pause themselves if the live site slows down for a second. Real users come first.
The deal room's core is built.
We ran 30 real sales through it on devnet. Every one settled exactly: the buyer paid the price, the seller got their share, the fee split came out to the lamport, and the coin's fee rights moved to the buyer.
Both sides sign at the same moment, so even on Phantom's slow days, 8 out of 10 test deals still made it in time.
Also built:
Offers only count if your wallet can actually pay them, so nobody can flood a listing with fake bids.
Telegram and browser pings when a seller accepts your offer or the other side is back in the room. No amounts in the pings, and you can mute anything.
Next up: the real pages on cometail.fun.

The Fee Index tracks 438,000+ coins, and searching it used to take up to 11 seconds. The database side now answers in under half a second, and tonight's push stops pages from waiting on slow logos.

Last time we said the deal room didn't fit Solana's 32-second window on Phantom's slow days, and that we were testing both sides signing at the same moment.
It worked. On slow days, 8 out of 10 test deals now make it in time, up from 0. We're building it now.
While we were at it, we fixed the site. The API used to freeze for about 16 seconds every few minutes. That's gone. And Fee Index searches across 438,000+ coins went from 8 to 10 seconds to under one.
Still not shipping anything half right.
Deal room update.
We're building a way for creators to sell their coin's fee rights for SOL. The seller gets paid and the buyer gets the fees in one transaction, with nobody holding anything in between.
We've run 70+ test sales on devnet through real Phantom wallets. The sale itself works.
Then we found the catch. On Solana right now, a sale like this has to land within about 32 seconds. When Phantom is slow, two people signing one after the other don't make it in time.
We could have shipped it anyway. We didn't.
We also threw out our first design because wallets flagged it with a "could steal your funds" warning. We're not putting that in front of anyone.
Now we're testing both sides signing at the same moment, so the clock only has to wait for one person. On paper it fixes the slow days. We're proving it on devnet now.
No new contracts. No custody. It ships when it works on Phantom's slow days too.
