We are launching Open Dots, run the same capabilities in 1/10th of the cost OpenAI shipped Dot yesterday for Pro users. Ours is open source, runs on your Mac and cheaper Here's how it works: - each dot has its own browser that stays logged in securely - it can use and setup triggers on your Gmail, Calendar and 1,500 other apps - you can call it and give it things to do while you talk - dots can coordinate and schedule reminders built with @composio @OpenRouter free and open source: github.com/composio-communit…

How time flies. I've been @Composio 8 months now building out our content engine and podcast: interviewing founders about what they're building. Season 3 starts soon and it'll be different. Every episode is one company, one department, filmed inside. Less "what do you think about AI," more what does it actually do here daily. I'll be asking questions like: -How much of your product is built by your own agent -What you automated and had to take back -What roles you stopped hiring for -What you'd do first at a slower company If you're a company in San Francisco (or Toronto;)) and you'd let a camera in, DM ME! Episode 1 is a works in progress right now;)

Inside @Stripe's MPP IRL: machine payments, stablecoins, and the future of agent commerce. Agents are starting to pay for things on their own: API calls, services, each other. Nobody's agreed on how that should work. This panel was three takes on it. @BackseatVC (Stripe) leads product for Machine Payments — the open standard for how agents pay for things. @dwr (@tempo) is building stablecoin payment rails, and thinks that's what agent commerce runs on, not cards. @blauyourmind (Royal) magician turned @a16z Crypto partner turned CTO is exploring programmable money for creators, and why the demand side is barely here yet. We got into: • Why HTTP 402, a status code from the early web, is suddenly the backbone of agent payments • Why Dan thinks a credit card is a private key and why stablecoins are safer for agents • Where stablecoins actually win first • Whether you should build for agent payments now or wait • Why the demand side is "virtually nonexistent" and what that means if you're building 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐒 (00:00) Event Kickoff JEN LEE — Product Lead, Stripe (00:44) What the Machine Payments Protocol Is (01:28) How MPP Works — the HTTP 402 Payment Challenge (03:25) Adoption So Far: ~30,000 Transactions (04:04) Building Trust — Shared Tokens & the Link Agent Wallet (05:56) What the Creator Economy Looks Like When the Audience Is Agents (07:15) What She Was Certain About at 22 That's Now Wrong DAN ROMERO — GTM, Tempo (08:34) Meet Dan (08:49) Why Stablecoins, and the Genius Act Tailwind (09:48) "A Credit Card Is Basically a Private Key" (11:19) Should Every Company Be Thinking About MPP? The harness is the moat. Everyone's racing to pick the winning model. Claude today, Codex tomorrow, something new next week. Composio's thesis is that none of it matters. On Lunchbreak with Lightspeed, Co-Founder Karan Vaidya (@KaranVaidya6) breaks down why: developers and enterprises building on Composio (@composio) can move across models without losing what they've built. Their credentials, skills, and tool connections carry over. Composio is what makes that possible. That's what makes the harness the moat: → Credentials stored in Composio travel across every model switch, with no re-authentication or rebuilding required → Skills that work on Claude get translated for Codex, because Composio has the trajectory data to make it possible → App providers now request Composio integration, because their users won't adopt tools that aren't already on the platform With 150M+ tool executions a month, every workflow a developer builds inside Composio deepens the moat. Watch Karan break it down with Hemant Mohapatra (@MohapatraHemant) and Rohil Bagga (@BaggaRohil) from Lightspeed. 🎥 Link to YouTube and Spotify in the comments.

One of the most powerful things you can do with Hermes is set up Composio. It's the bridge that connects 1000+ external apps directly to your Hermes agent. Set up only takes a few minutes (save this): Paste this into your Hermes chat: composio.dev/hermes Tell Hermes: "Install Composio [paste link]." It installs automatically, no manual config needed. Then just tell Hermes which apps you want connected: Some apps I personally connected: • Google Calendar • Gmail or Outlook • Google Tasks • Slack • GitHub Hermes will prompt you to authorize each one as you go. Once connected, it can actually act on your behalf instead of just talking about acting. What changes once it's live → "What's on my calendar today? Flag any conflicts." → "Check my inbox and summarize anything that actually needs a response." Most people haven't heard of Composio, but it's a complete game-changer.

🚨 Hermes Agent Tip of the Day: Composio I just gave Hermes access to a ridiculous stack of over 500 apps in about 30 seconds. One command: hermes mcp add composio --url connect.composio.dev/mcp --auth oauth One OAuth flow later, Hermes was connected to: 🔸 Gmail 🔸 Canva 🔸 Google Analytics 🔸 Gumroad 🔸 Cloudflare All through one MCP server. No hunting down API keys, building custom integrations, or wiring up every app individually. I didn’t even know I needed Composio. Now there’s absolutely no chance I’m going back.

The baseline of AI saas has moved. Before you needed a dashboard and a chatbot. Now you need: -MCP/CLI/API -cloud agent -scheduled agents -better analytics for agent self-improvement
The bar for a successful AI agent product is lower than you think. @Michael_chomsky explains why even simple, niche AI products built for one specific industry like finance or real estate now need to include features that only big platforms had a year ago, like sandboxed environments, virtual file systems, and the ability to schedule and deploy agents. Full convo below.

Adil moved to San Francisco and caught @sama on the street within 48 hours. He asked him the funniest thing he'd seen someone do with @ChatGPTapp. The video hit half a million views. Half the comments were "how did you do that." The other half were "why'd you ask such a stupid question." That's kind of the whole point of what he's building. Before SF, @Adilmania was the "TikTok startup guy" in France. Millions of views, celebrity interviews, the French Shark Tank on TikTok. Then he quit at the top in 2023, because everything looked perfect from the outside and something was wrong on the inside. He took a break, and came back with something more global. Now he runs @siliconmania, and the mission is simple: MAKE TECH FUN AGAIN. His read is that tech markets itself terribly: people are scared of Waymos and suspicious of AI not because the products are bad, but because nobody tells the story well."It's a marketing problem, not a product problem." His advice for anyone who wants to build what he's building: There's space. Hollywood has thousands of studios. Tech has maybe five people making it fun. We need hundreds. Don't come to SF to start. Start anywhere. Come here to make it big. "Any engineer who tells you Claude Fable can't replace them has a huge ego. As the models get better, designers will be able to produce more for customers without ever going to the engineering department to justify what they want to build." This is what @felixleezd (founder of @ADPList) is doing with @claudeai Fable while it's still free on paid plans: •Telling it to replicate its own harness so it runs at the same efficiency even after it moves to API-only •Running security audits across the entire codebase •Ultra reviews: scanning the full repo and database for inefficiencies costing money he didn't know about •One-shotting new features Full conversation dropping soon on @Composio Agents at Work Podcast! Access extended through July 12, use it while it's free.

She quit $10K/month, left her 32,000-person community in Korea, and moved to San Francisco to build a startup... "You have to be delusional enough to think it will work, but extremely objective about the data." Cailyn Yong (@cailynyongyong) built @getyourmomo in public since day one: every pivot, every burnout, every co-founder breakup, documented for thousands to watch. She wasn't just building a product, she was building trust at scale and turning it into distribution. We sat down at @fdotinc, the place that changed everything for her, to talk about AI memory, building in public, and why the hardest part of founding had nothing to do with the product. if you are going to the #AIEngineer conference in SF this week you have a huge problem... there are over 500 events across 5 parallel tracks, how are you going to decide which events are the best ones to go to? @MalayVasa cooked again. We built an agent with Composio that will search for the best events and add them directly to your calendar. go to aie.sh to start building your calendar! oh and I am giving at talk thursday evening "Dashboards are dead: AX is the new UX, and how to build for agents." hope to see you there! comment with the events you are going to I am still undecided 👀
