A huge thank you to everyone for turning out this afternoon to welcome home Mark, Eoin and Paul O’Neill who completed their final lap of 72 clubs over the weekend to raise funds for Milford Care Centre in honour of their late mother Margaret.

Today we remember Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi eight years after his murder. A critic of the regime, Khashoggi was brutally killed at the Saudi consulate in Turkey.
Justice has still not been served.

Whew. I'm always nervous before a big story comes out and never more so than with this one, the story of Jessica Taylor, PhD, a woman who some see as a victim and a hero, and who others see as a grifter and a fraud. It's out now for all. Please listen. blockedandreported.org/p/epi…

Good to see the Irish Times covering the topic of gender identity. Mark Tighe has consistently been one of the few journalists in Ireland who dare to touch the topic. Worryingly, Ireland is being steered towards ever more radical paths.
The pending departure comes at a time of an intense focus on what model of care Ireland’s new gender services will adopt.

I appreciate Helen Ogbu faces racist abuse and we didn't write the story lightly. But Labour itself failed in its duty of care to Helen by consistently repeating the wrong facts about her back story. That was their doing, not mine.

We scandalously waste what so many people so badly need to survive & thrive, a home & places to play & create
Welcome to #DerelictIreland
State enabled vandalism
This is a derelict eyesore on Russell Street in Dublin City. 🏚️
In the midst of a housing crisis, a record 17,548 people are accessing state-funded emergency accommodation across Ireland, including 11,944 adults and 5,604 children.
The three-storey red-brick buildings at 18 and 18a Russell Street have been derelict for decades, and the adjoining properties have since been demolished.
In my visualisation, the red blocks represent derelict and vacant sites.

"Because without changing how we manage housing data in Ireland, we will continue to run around in circles, getting nowhere closer to filling all the homes in the country and, crucially, ensuring everyone has a home"

Ireland: occupied for centuries by imperial invaders who brutally suppressed their language & identity; endured torture, murder, sexual violence, hunger. They bravely resisted & live free today.
More than anyone in Western Europe, Ireland should understand & stand with Ukraine.

You can't keep #DerelictIreland out of news
Continuous since June 2021
In past week movement was covered by RTÉ Investigates, CorkBeo, TipperaryLive, The Journal
With dereliction featured in every outlet, incl. Prime Time
Tweet that got the nation talking, Irish Examiner 2022

Check out this Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) owned dereliction, rotting since early 90s, as seen on @RTE_PrimeTime
& you wonder why dereliction was normalised before me & @judesherry started #DerelictIreland campaign
This is prime example of state enabled vandalism
Should be homes

24th June will mark 6 years of me & @judesherry working daily to challenge #DerelictIreland thru' focusing on policy, practice & protest (this was preceded by 21 months research)
We're going to run a number of events around the anniversary & we'd really appreciate your support❤️
'We felt we could change things'
Because me & @judesherry had the advantage of seeing a world without longerm vacancy, decay & dereliction

"Me & @judesherry have highlighed this building since 2020 yet all thats happened is a brush of paint to cover over cracks. We have news for you, paint doesn't stop buildings crumbling or passers by getting hurt"
Thanks @corkbeo for covering #derelictireland
An RTÉ Investigates analysis into derelict site registers found that State bodies appear repeatedly. In some cases, this has cost the State hundreds of thousands of euro in derelict sites levies

Astonishing that @darraghmcdonagh is getting backlash for a story of extreme public significance.
You can argue for or against the logic of the protests but when you’re arguing against the truth being published you have left the reservation…
