I really think today should've been the final nail in the coffin for Aaron Glenn, regardless of whether the #Jets actually fire him during the season. You had a winless Dolphins team coming into your building, and somehow, your defense lets them march right down the field; your team is down 14 at halftime, and once again, we're talking about clock management, situational football, and the same mistakes we've been seeing for over a year now. And then Glenn gets up there after the game and says he believes they're on the right track. Based on what? I understand this roster has its flaws, and Glenn certainly isn't responsible for everything wrong with this organization. But at some point, the head coach has to be held accountable for the product on the field. We're not even at Halloween, and another Jets season is over. I just don't know what more this organization needs to see.

A silver lining from today's #Jets disaster: On just five routes against man, Omar Cooper Jr. caught all three targets for 115 yards and a TD. His 23.0 yards per route is the highest in a single game since at least 2018 (min. 5 routes). Insane.

That's EXACTLY what can't happen. First-and-goal from the ONE-yard line, and the #Jets somehow come away with just three points. Stuffed on three straight plays, and Geno absolutely cannot take that sack there. You've got all the momentum, a chance to tie the game, and you settle for a field goal. Just can't make this stuff up.

What a difference a few drives can make. The #Jets looked completely lifeless at halftime. Now, suddenly, it's a one-score game, and they've got some real momentum. Omar Cooper Jr. has been HUGE, Braelon Allen is finding room to run, and the defense is finally getting some pressure on Malik Willis. Still plenty of work to do, but this looks like a completely different Jets team from the first half.

Really about as bad as it gets for the #Jets in that first half. You're facing a WINLESS Dolphins team, and somehow Miami has its first lead of the entire season AND a 21-7 halftime advantage. The Jets' pass rush has been nonexistent, Malik Willis has looked far too comfortable, and Bobby Slowik has consistently had answers for Aaron Glenn's defense. Just nowhere near good enough. Offensively, the opening drive was everything you wanted to see. But since then, NOTHING. The most frustrating part is that this isn't some talent-loaded offense picking the Jets apart. It's a winless team that they should be beating. And yet, down two scores at halftime. The team looks unprepared and is getting outschemed. Really ugly.

Aaron Glenn is getting outcoached by Bobby Slowik right now, and that's a problem. The #Jets are generating virtually no pressure up front, giving Malik Willis far too much time to operate. Slowik has been adapting, and Glenn just hasn't. Against a winless Dolphins team, that's simply unacceptable.

Really like the way Jamien Sherwood has bounced back lately for the #Jets. He had a REALLY rough start to the season, but he's looked much more like himself over the past few weeks. Already has a TFL and a pass breakup today. Demario Davis has made a huge difference, too. His presence has really freed Sherwood up.

See what happens when the Jets actually use play-action? Geno has been one of the league's best play-action QBs, and pairing that with Omar Cooper Jr.'s elusiveness is a great combination. Love the opening script from Reich. And how about Mason Taylor finishing the job? Talked all offseason about his ability to be that go-to contested-catch guy after what he showed last year. Injuries slowed his start, but he quietly played well last week. Awesome to see him build on that and tie it up for the #Jets

Just about the worst possible start you could ask for from the #Jets' defense. Absolutely ZERO push from the pass rush, and Malik Willis is taking full advantage. Hasn't thrown a single incompletion. You just can't let that happen against a winless team. Come on.
