Jamien Sherwood has bounced back really nicely over the past few weeks after a rough start to the season.
Really encouraging to see him looking much more like the player the #Jets expected coming into the year.

It's a small sample size, but what Omar Cooper Jr. is doing for the #Jets is pretty ridiculous.
He's averaging 4.77 yards per route run and 9.8 yards after the catch per reception.
Here's where he stands among 113 wide receivers with at least 10 targets 📊

Braelon Allen remains one of the #Jets' bright spots this season.
He's forced 26 missed tackles and averaged 3.80 yards after contact per carry.
Here's how he stacks up against the rest of the NFL's running backs through Week 7 📊
Well, it's painfully obvious now 👉 jetsxfactor.com/2026/10/26/n…

I really think today should've been the final nail in the coffin for Aaron Glenn, regardless of whether the #Jets actually fire him during the season.
You had a winless Dolphins team coming into your building, and somehow, your defense lets them march right down the field; your team is down 14 at halftime, and once again, we're talking about clock management, situational football, and the same mistakes we've been seeing for over a year now.
And then Glenn gets up there after the game and says he believes they're on the right track. Based on what?
I understand this roster has its flaws, and Glenn certainly isn't responsible for everything wrong with this organization. But at some point, the head coach has to be held accountable for the product on the field.
We're not even at Halloween, and another Jets season is over. I just don't know what more this organization needs to see.

A silver lining from today's #Jets disaster:
On just five routes against man, Omar Cooper Jr. caught all three targets for 115 yards and a TD.
His 23.0 yards per route is the highest in a single game since at least 2018 (min. 5 routes).
Insane.

The New York Jets need actual football players who produce BEYOND the box score. They have a “player specialty” problem, but few realize it because most fans and media treat the box score as gospel.
… in addition to the coaching/player evaluation woes, of course.

Again, if a defense has just one guy in their front who cannot handle business (gets pushed around, knocked back, etc.), let alone a few (which the New York Jets have in this front 7), there is no football team. It's that simple.
It was obvious in August (gap/pocket integrity).

What an awful job by Miami's defense. You can give up a score on that drive, fine, but there BETTER be under two minutes remaining in the game. Cannot believe the Jets scored a TD and still have 3:24.

Yeah, that Jets' third-down play-action was the second-down call, not third down. Chop Robinson has been disciplined all game; can't do that on third, not in that spot.
Second down? Fine; perfect, even. Not third.

That's EXACTLY what can't happen.
First-and-goal from the ONE-yard line, and the #Jets somehow come away with just three points.
Stuffed on three straight plays, and Geno absolutely cannot take that sack there.
You've got all the momentum, a chance to tie the game, and you settle for a field goal. Just can't make this stuff up.

What a difference a few drives can make.
The #Jets looked completely lifeless at halftime. Now, suddenly, it's a one-score game, and they've got some real momentum.
Omar Cooper Jr. has been HUGE, Braelon Allen is finding room to run, and the defense is finally getting some pressure on Malik Willis.
Still plenty of work to do, but this looks like a completely different Jets team from the first half.

Enagbare's play on first down — tough, knockback, moving the blocker, dirty work at edge, against the run — made the entire series for the Jets defense. Limited first down to just two yards, then they set up third-and-medium. ***Sure, they were a little fortunate Wilis didn't scamper for the first after they lost pocket integrity (YET AGAIN), but tight coverage once he broke the pocket.
But please take note of that first-down play by Enagbare. Great play.

That's just brutal game management by the Jets. It's third-and-15, already in FG range, and you burn a timeout? Guys, taking a delay of game there is FINE; ok, you're pushed back five, which makes the FG rougher, but it's SIMPLE to gain 10 yards on third-and-20 in today's game.
