Published online 11 February 2026.
Among 198,473 adults, healthy low-carb patterns were associated with 15% lower coronary heart disease risk, and healthy low-fat patterns with 13% lower risk. Its central finding was that food quality mattered for both approaches; it did not specifically test a low-insulinemic diet.

You don’t have to blame yourself for the person you have become.
Sometimes, the pain you carry from childhood becomes the behaviour you show the world.
You become self-centred, hurt people, and don’t even realise why.
But you are not helpless, and you are not beyond change.
Don’t punish yourself. Don’t hate those who react to your behaviour either.
Just pause. Observe yourself. Understand your patterns.

Gold, silver, Indian stocks and the rupee could all react to one decision tonight: the US Fed’s interest rate announcement.
Most economists expect the Fed to keep rates unchanged at 3.75%–4%. But there’s a catch: US inflation rose to 3.7% in September, well above the Fed’s 2% target.
Investors will be watching not just the decision, but what the Fed says about future rate cuts.
Gold & silver: If rates stay higher for longer, a stronger dollar and rising bond yields could put pressure on both metals. Gold could still rise if investors rush towards safe-haven assets during uncertainty.
Indian stocks: Higher US bond yields can make American bonds more attractive to foreign investors, putting pressure on Indian equities. A softer Fed stance could improve sentiment, but earnings and valuations will matter too.
The rupee: A stronger dollar can weaken the rupee, making crude oil imports more expensive and adding to inflationary pressure. Indian exporters earning in dollars could benefit when converting those earnings into rupees.
The Fed’s decision is scheduled for 11:30 PM IST, followed by the Chair’s press conference at midnight.
One decision, multiple markets and the real surprise could be what the Fed signals next.

Akash Prakash has invested in Indian equities for over 30 years. In today's Business Standard he writes that, for the first time, global allocators are asking him whether India needs a dedicated allocation at all.
India's weight in the MSCI Emerging Markets index has fallen from 21% in September 2024 to about 10%. TSMC alone now carries a weight 50% larger than the whole of India.
Since that peak, he puts Indian equities down about 25% in dollar terms while EM indices are up about 50%.
He still reads this as a contrarian signal and expects the tide to turn.
Global funds are asking whether India deserves its own bucket.
Most Indian investors have never asked that question the other way. For them, India is the whole portfolio.

CASE STUDY | REAL-WORLD ANALYSIS: Should You Quit Your Job to Build a Business or Trade Full-Time ?
This is a topic that many people in Vietnam have asked me for advice on. I had already planned to write a post about it for my channel, but hadn’t published it yet.
Yesterday, I came across @Godisagreatking post about a friend who was wondering whether he/she should quit his/her job to focus on his/her business. This gives me an opportunity to examine a real-world case in depth. I’ve quoted Olutibia’s post so everyone can understand the situation before I dive into the analysis.
Based on the initial figures provided in the screenshots, I’ll analyze his/her case using clear decision-making criteria, weigh the arguments for and against quitting, and conduct a realistic risk assessment. My approach will be grounded in evidence, not assumptions or generic motivational advice. I won’t simply tell him/her to quit or stay without explaining the reasoning behind my recommendation.
My goal is to help him/her evaluate his/her options objectively and understand which decision best fits his/her current circumstances. I also hope this framework will be useful to others facing a similar dilemma.
However, the information currently available in @Godisagreatking's screenshots isn’t detailed enough to develop a truly tailored strategy. If your friend is comfortable sharing more information publicly, please ask him/her to comment directly under my post so I can ask a few follow-up questions. If he/she prefers to keep his/her details private, I’ll publish a separate post listing the specific questions, and he/she can simply DM me his/her answers. This will give me the information needed for a more thorough analysis.
As for quitting a job to trade full-time, I’ll cover that separately in a future post.
If you’re facing a similar decision, stay tuned.
