After much consideration, we are moving away from X (Twitter). The platform's algorithm and reach have made it challenging to connect with our audience, so we're shifting our focus to other social media spaces where we can build more meaningful interactions.

I recently hosted an event in Parliament with @BellRibeiroAddy and @corganisers to launch the new report, Neighbourhood Assemblies: A New Model for Neighbourhood Governance.
We heard directly from organisers working in Marsh Farm, Luton, Together Creating Communities in Wrexham (@tccwales) and @RubyBukhari1.
The Neighbourhood Assembly model reflects a principle I strongly believe in: that the best way to ensure resources go to the right place is by empowering communities, local government and local people to decide where money is spent, because they know their areas best.
Ultimately, pushing power down is how we will get better outcomes.
