Residents are telling me they're still being taught old billing rules.
Reminder, since Jan 1, 2023:
🔶 HPI has no strict billing requirements. It simply needs to exist
🔶 Same for physical exam
🔶 ROS is no longer required
🔶 PMH, FH, SH are no longer required

Not new data, but so important…
👉🏼Patients with underlying liver disease ARE NOT at risk for statin-induced hepatotoxicity.
👉🏼Don’t withhold important 🫀directed therapy.
👉🏼Bottom line…if someone needs statin, liver disease not a contraindication.
