The actor made the revelation during an interview with Poleeno, shared on YouTube at a time that most Ghanaians are wondering how he made too much money suddenly, with calls for the Economic and Organised Cr!me Office (EOCO) to investigate his wealth. Salinko explained that acting was not his only source of income, revealing that he had ventured into several businesses over the years. He said he started with the sale of pure water before expanding into other products, including hot chocolate and milk powder. He also mentioned farming as another area in which he had invested. The actor further disclosed that he had business interests in the UK, insisting that his ventures were legitimate and that he had nothing to hide from anyone questioning his source of wealth. “My net worth is more than Ghc3 million. Acting is not where all my money comes from. I have businesses here in Ghana and in the UK, and these are some of the things that have helped me build my wealth,” he said. However, Salinko declined to disclose the names of his business brands, claiming that some people were interested in destroying his ventures. He recounted an incident in which someone spread negative information about one of his hot chocolate products, affecting the business. Addressing calls for EOCO to investigate him, the actor said he was unbothered and would willingly explain his financial dealings to the authorities. He said he had even told a close associate who informed him about the calls that investigators were welcome to question him about his businesses and finances. Salinko added that he would also explain the loans he had taken and how the financial burden had affected his marriage. The actor also questioned why people had become interested in his finances only after he had accumulated some wealth, rather than supporting him during his difficult years.
