Initia halts L1 and all rollups after ~$2.7M exploit On October 23 at 15:41 UTC, the @initia network (L1 + rollups) was fully halted due to a security incident. Researcher Spreek was the first to report unauthorized token minting. The Initia team later confirmed that before the network was stopped, the attacker withdrew ~$2.7M: ~105 $WETH + 1.4M $AUSD + ~1.08M $USDC. The native token initia:native was not affected. Agora stated that it has no contracts on Initia and that a third-party product using AUSD was impacted. The network remains halted while the team works on a patch and asset recovery. An official post-mortem is expected later.

According to @solana, the whole process takes less than a minute.
