Went to EMP last year and can vouch
I have a completely unscientific theory about Michelin restaurants:
1 star: Fantastic. Great food, serious cooking, no nonsense.
2 stars: Often unbearable. Haute cuisine at its most self-conscious. 14 courses, tweezers, foam, and an elaborate philosophical explanation of a carrot.
3 stars: Somehow fantastic again. The absurdity becomes so extreme, the execution so extraordinary, that it transcends pretension and becomes art.
The Michelin paradox: 1 is great, 2 is terrible, 3 is sublime.

You look up the name of any French actress and you will find a movie with a one word title where she's naked the entire time

All these years later, I still think of that Irish Spring commercial where the dude cuts a bar with his pocket knife.
