Corporate greed is Amazon blaming a 17% increase in its prime membership fees on labor costs while its profits soared 56% last year to $33 billion & Jeff Bezos became $74 billion richer during the pandemic. The problem is not the Amazon worker making $15 an hour. It's greed.

UNSG speaks truth to power at #UNGA
"Majority of young people suffer high levels of [#ClimateAnxiety] due to the state of our planet. 60% of your future voters feel betrayed by their Govs" #WeFeelThisToo
Thanks @antonioguterres! Now will politicians act on the #ClimateEmergency?

Dear MPs:
Twice in a row Canadians voted in the same minority Parliament.
Your job is to make it work.
This is the House we wanted.
We don't want games. We want action. We want you to work together to do big things like minorities used to do in the 60s and 70s.
Get to work.

Politicians have forgotten how to feel. They are numb.
We are NOT.
75% of youth feel frightened by the future and 45% feel #climateanxiety affects their daily lives. This is the cost of government inaction. @BorisJohnson @JoeBiden: Will you up your game at #UNGA? #WeFeelThisToo

Bernie, you have fought courageously for public health care, affordable medication, making the rich pay their fair share, and tackling the climate crisis.
We’re doing the same here.
Canada, better is possible. But, you have to vote for it!
Canada goes to the polls Monday.
There's one party that stood up for working people in the pandemic.
One leader who has the courage to make the wealthy pay their fair share so everyone gets the medication they need.
That's why I support the @NDP and @theJagmeetSingh.

Today, in light of all that is happening in Israel and Palestine, if @theJagmeetSingh were to continue pressing the government on this issue he might find, perhaps to his surprise, that a majority of Canadians agree with him, writes @KarlNerenberg. buff.ly/3uLNJT8

Ontario is failing to protect workers: unsurprisingly, without the right to stay home when sick, people go to work. Globe reporting today that 25% of workers in Peel continue to attend work while sick. Ontario can dramatically reduce COVID spread w/ mandatory paid sick days.

Life is not about "not upsetting anyone".
It's about upsetting the right people.
If people with structural power are pissed off at you, you're doing it right. If marginalized people are angry at you, you're doing it wrong.
