There is no policy on tackling the "school run" the main cause of congestion at peak times. No mention of 20mph in urban or residential areas, no safe ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฉโ๐ฆฝ networks to enable students to travel independently & no policy on low cost public transport to access education ๐ค

The 6 new policies are weak & do not align with the objectives. Eg there is a policy on "Carbon" but ignores carbon in constructing massive road schemes, carbon emissions during use of new infrastructure & is silent on protecting nature & the built environment.

Why such opposition from the incumbents to battery storage? Itโs so obvious. Store renewable electricity the grid canโt use and end the ridiculous hundreds of millions on containment costs to pay wind operators to switch off turbines. We need electricity market reform using batteries to store cheap clean power and bring down prices for everybody.

Hereโs a thing to focus on โฆ. A few years ago Malta reduced its blood alcohol levels (driving) and in doing so exposed the UK (minus Scotland) with the dubious โprizeโ as the highest allowed BAL whilst driving in Europe.
