Bandits Are Still Attacking Kaduna. Mallam Is Still in Detention. So, Who Is Behind It Now? The attacks have not stopped. Bandits are still targeting communities in Kaduna. People are still being killed, kidnapped, and forced to live in fear. And through all of this, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai remains in detention. For a long time, many were told that the insecurity was somehow linked to him. The message was clear: once he was out of the way, things would get better. But months have passed. He remains in detention, and the attacks have not stopped. So, the old explanation no longer holds. This is not just politics. These are real villages, real families, and real losses. When the same problems persist after the man they blamed has been removed from the scene, people have every right to ask hard questions. Who is driving these attacks now? What has changed in the security strategy? And why does the narrative keep shifting whenever it becomes politically convenient? General Christopher Musa leads the military. The public expects more than silence. If the previous claims rested on El-Rufai’s alleged influence over the security situation, then the continued violence raises serious questions about those claims. Results matter more than talking points. The people of Kaduna want safety they can feel, not explanations that change with the political weather. Security is a duty, not a tool for settling political scores. As long as bandits continue to operate and Mallam remains in detention without a conviction, the argument that his detention was necessary for peace becomes increasingly difficult to sustain. The people deserve answers. And they deserve protection. The Movement Is Rising.

Yes, insecurity existed in Millennium City even before the current administration of Governor Uba Sani. However, the difference between the previous and current administrations lies in their level of effort and commitment to addressing the situation. During Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s administration, we witnessed efforts to tackle insecurity, including regular security meetings, frequent public statements acknowledging the challenges, and assurances to citizens about the government’s commitment to protecting their lives and property. Unfortunately, the current administration appears nonchalant about the situation. Its priority seems to be securing a second term rather than addressing the security challenges confronting the people. Worse still, the government appears reluctant to even acknowledge the reality on ground, maybe to avoid drawing the attention of the outside world and its political allies to its failures in tackling insecurity.

Subhanallah! Bandits reportedly attacked Nurul Siraj Estate in Millennium City, Kaduna, around midnight, abducting several residents despite an exchange of gunfire with troops. This is happening less two weeks after Ahmad Zakka and his family regained their freedom, while Jamila the pregnant woman and others are still in captivity. The most worrying part is that this is one of the most secured estates in that axis. If residents cannot feel safe in their own homes, where can they find safety? When will Millennium City finally have peace? Are we going to continue like this?

Medical Crisis: El-Rufai Facing Life-Threatening Drug-Resistant Infection in Custody By Writers: Sufi & Ibrahim Modibbo Sanusi Date: October 27, 2026 BREAKING: Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s blood sample tested positive for Enterococcus faecium, a high-risk bacterium capable of causing severe systemic infections. The official laboratory report, dated October 16, reveals a deeply alarming development: the strain is resistant to vancomycin, raising critical concerns about an escalating bloodstream infection requiring immediate intervention. On October 22, El-Rufai’s attending physician issued a stern warning and recommended urgent hospital admission, comprehensive specialized treatment, and consultation with infectious disease experts. The doctor emphasized that standard oral antibiotics or routine prison care cannot combat a vancomycin-resistant pathogen. Even medical personnel affiliated with his custodians concur with these diagnostic findings. Yet, those holding him appear far more concerned about keeping him behind bars than ensuring appropriate medical care. When urgent medical recommendations are not prioritized, questions about deliberate neglect become unavoidable, because even convicted bandits are taken to the hospital when the need arises. Recent images of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai reveal a visibly deteriorating physical condition. Though he remains resolute and displays courage, the physical toll is starkly evident. Denying a citizen access to their trusted personal doctors and stalling necessary hospitalization is a dangerous compromise of human life. We explicitly call the attention of the federal authorities, security agencies, and custodian officials: if anything untoward happens to Mallam, the Arewa Youth will hold every officer, administrator, and political architect involved personally and collectively responsible. The life of a public figure who served his region and nation cannot be treated with political nonchalance. We demand his immediate, unconditional, or urgent bail release so he can be transferred to an appropriately equipped tertiary health institution to receive life-saving care before his condition becomes irreversible. It has become painfully obvious to political observers that the ongoing detention of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is purely political. In a system where individuals facing charges involving sums and allegations a hundred times more serious backed by stronger evidence enjoy relative freedom and reside in their private homes, El-Rufai is subjected to rigorous, punitive detention. This double standard underscores a calculated campaign of political target-selection. Reports indicate an attempt by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and the current administration to silence prominent northern leaders and dismantle the political influence of Arewa leadership ahead of future elections. There appears to be a flawed strategic assumption within the governing hierarchy that locking up key figures like Mallam Nasir El-Rufai will weaken regional opposition and secure control over the North, particularly the Northwest. However, this political calculation is fundamentally flawed. The people of Kaduna State and the broader Northwest remember the governance track record, infrastructural development, and administrative courage of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. They remain deeply in love with him. Arbitrary detentions alienate the electorate, and the people of Kaduna and Arewa will deliver a decisive political shock to PBAT at the presidential polls.

Good morning Nigerians. 💔 This morning we woke up to yet again another devastating news about the banditry attack that occurred last night at Nurus Suraj Estate Millennium City, Kaduna state. This has proven to be a frequent occurrence day in day out, some people are still in captivity from the recent attacks. Meanwhile, yesterday’s attack happened just few days after the President’s visit to the state, to flag off his campaign for the 2027 elections. We witnessed tightened security measures across the state before and during his visit, even their campaign banners were properly secured. Insecurity is where I draw the line, I don’t play politics with it, it frightens the heck out of me. Yet, this present administration has proven to care less about the lives and properties of its citizens, their only priority is how to secure a second term. For how long will this continue before the Government finally takes an everlasting solution to these frequent attacks?

Jiki Magayi! - Bill Clinton
In an interview, the woman who reportedly sustained a head injury while campaigning for Uba Sani in Kaduna says she now regrets promoting him and the APC. According to her, no APC official has visited her or even called to check on her following the incident. Her account raises questions about the support political supporters receive when they are injured while campaigning. No one should have to face political violence, and every injured person deserves care and compassion, regardless of their political affiliation.
