How the hell did this Administration allow a 28-year-old DOGE operative with zero government experience to take over USAID, fire thousands of federal employees, and shut down lifesaving aid programs around the world?
Not to mention that HR had zero record of him working there, he never completed his background paperwork to legally start working for the agency, and he didn’t even have an ID badge, because, officially, he didn’t exist as an employee.
And yet, all on his own, this man was given the go ahead to lock staff out of their own systems and use your taxpayer dollars to gut lifesaving programs with zero transparency.
The Trump Administration owes the American people and Congress answers. Who signed off on this? Why on earth was he given this kind of power?
This wasn’t an accident. Someone handed this man unchecked power, someone knew he wasn’t legally authorized to use it, and someone decided that there was nothing wrong with that.
Well, everything is wrong with that. Congress needs answers about this, and that is NOT optional.

"Trickle Down" wasn't meant to help you. It's literally a metaphor for the rich pissing on you... and that's literally what they did while stealing your money.

After watching President Obama's crisp, clear, and clever speeches this past week, it is more obvious than ever that going from Obama to trump was like going from a Lamborghini to a skateboard with only one wheel.
What a downgrade.

“They listened to people back home.” The last time @RepHuizenga held a face-to-face town hall with his 775,000+ constituents was 2018. Refused to debate his opponents. Locks the doors at his offices. Doesn’t answer mail. Will cash @AFPMichigan checks however 💰💰. Doesn’t listen.

This has always been a campaign open to anyone, regardless of political identity, who feels frustrated by the way our corrupt system works for the rich but not working families. I'm fighting to get money out of politics and lower costs.

We shouldn't have to rely on midterms to save the country. Republican lawmakers should have had the patriotism and basic common sense to stop a compromised asset from destroying America from within a long time ago.

Throughout this race, people of all ages have shared fears of Social Security and Medicare ending. We all deserve to retire with dignity and we must ensure a strong social safety net at every stage of life.

Public service means showing up, and listening. I’ve held 10 town halls during this campaign and heard from hundreds of you because your voices matter. Unlike my opponent, I’ll always show up and listen to Southwest Michigan.

Please read this piece. The cruelty of mass deportation extends to the unborn.
Pro-lifers who voted for Trump:
“The detainment of pregnant immigrants has led to delayed emergency treatment, miscarriages, and stillbirths.”
But the number of pregnant detainees has significantly increased since President Trump took office in 2025.

It doesn’t take a PhD in biblical hermeneutics to understand that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
But it takes some biblical gymnastics to argue that Christian ends excuse the absence of fruit.

Notice how it's somehow the government's job to legislate a few Bible verses on human sexuality over our entire country, but it's suddenly "not the government's job" when it comes to the +2,500 Bible verses calling for a generous use of wealth that prioritizes the poor.

Last year, Congress passed the One Big Bill, slashing Medicaid, affordable healthcare, and clean energy, while handing out massive tax breaks to the top 1%. I’m running to make sure Southwest Michigan families come first, not wealthy special interests.

Abdul El-Sayed: “The worst of the Big Ugly Bill hasn’t even hit yet. They knew it would be so disastrous to working people that they didn’t actually make it take effect until after the midterms. In January, Medicaid cuts, ACA subsidy cuts, all of that is gonna get worse. It’s about to be a nuclear bomb that goes off on our healthcare system”

No one said this race would be easy. But the energy across Southwest Michigan is electric. Every door knocked, every conversation, and every vote brings us closer.
Make a plan to vote, remind your friends and family, and join us knocking doors if you can. Let’s finish strong!

One of my proudest moments of this campaign was standing on the picket line with UAW members. I will always stand with working people and working families, fighting for fair wages, respect on the job, and a future to believe in.

I hear from people all the time that Washington is broken. Especially when we have politicians making us foot the bill for their personal expenses. I see you and I hear you. That’s why we need leaders who will focus on moving Michigan forward, not enriching themselves.
